Let's have a little deal with the 'devil'...

Terra looked at Slade.
"You were too fast in bringing me back in! I almost had the Titans!" She claimed.
"No, My dear... You were far from getting any of the Titans..." Slade said, "You were more likely on the path you were following to be sat, Beast Boy as a puppy in your lap, in their team when Robin goes back to his lord and master, that damned bat!"
"I wouldn't have ended up like that!" She lied, knowing he'd read her right.
"Here's the deal..." Slade said, then Terra listened to his deal.

"Congratulations, Terra! We knew you could get out from under Slade..." Beast Boy said, as she returned, injured seemingly badly, but really nothing bed rest and a bit of care couldn't fix.
"Yeah... He was surprised my powers had developed so well... Thanks, Raven, for that..." She said.
"How's that?" Raven asked.
"You helped me push myself past what I thought were my limits..." She said, "Well, If you hadn't done that, Who knows where Titans Tower would be..."

Later, as she lay in her room, Raven using some medicinal salve of indeterminate origin on her injuries, she thought about what the deal Slade had made with her had been, and how it would be trouble for her later...
