Let's See...

"We aren't slimy!" One of the females protested before grabbing Netu by her broken arm and hauling her to her feet. She humphed, an exasperated 's' in the sigh even for a snake. "Are you sure we have to wait until we are back with this one?"

"I'm sure." The leader remarked. "Watch her arm please. She's hurt."

Another humph.

They started walking, the Cobrapeople talking in hushed tones ahead of Netu as they went into the forest, moving off in a deliberate direction... Though she couldn't tell what direction that was.

She could tell they didn't mean her any harm. The way they handled her, even the rough one, indicated that while they may not be the friendliest people, if they really wanted to do something bad to her they would have already. Wherever they were taking here, it wasn't to her impending doom.

They walked for a while before the group stopped.

"The Torn Belly." One said, a female, with a hint of disdain in her voice. "I don't remember it being here."

"She moves it from time to time." The leader said.

Ahead, in a clearing in the trees, a large building, roofed with enormous leather tarpaulins, sat amidst foliage that had been deliberately cleared away. It looked, deliberately so, like a large, pregnant belly, with a rift running from top to bottom on one side. Multi-colored smoke escaped from this crack as someone worked inside.

"Ahh... Cobras." A cool, sickeningly calm voice said from the doorway. Netu could see a woman there in a beautiful, ornate cloak, though she was totally concealed. "I love visitors. Would you all like to stay awhile?"

Her words, her voice was like silk. The Cobrapeople smiled, looking from one to another.

"Of course!" The leader said, smiling wide and lifting his arms graciously. "It's always a great pleasure to stay here with you, Mita!"

Mita pushed her cowl back... And Netu saw a beautiful Zora beneath...

And whatever had overcome the Cobrapeople, Netu wasn't having it.
