Chapter 140 by Mr Nice Guy Mr Nice Guy

Leroy's Lament

When Leroy left the airport, he felt like his world had been crushed. When he told his parents that Raven had dumped him, he wanted to crawl under a rock. But when he saw her the next night, sitting in that restaurant that she loved, across the table from that white dude, he understood.

Leroy was a big man. Big muscles, big feelings, but also a big enough man to admit when he had lost fair and square. He loved Raven, probably always would in a way, but how was he supposed to compete with someone like that?

Sitting at a table alone, in the back corner of the restaurant, he watched the pair from afar. Leroy had come there to remember the good times. It was where he had taken her on her last birthday, the same night he had decided that he loved her enough to marry her. They were to grow old together, raise a family…

A boy’s dream. And while he had it, a man had snatched her away.

The pair stood and leaned over the table, sharing a kiss over their appetizers. Raven was gorgeous, but her date...

As he leaned forward, his breasts, so big they could barely be contained in the tiny top he was wearing, almost brushed the table. And his ass! Even from Leroy's awkward angle across the restaurant, he could tell that Raven's new man was something special. Leroy was pretty sure that he wasn't even a little bit gay, but staring at that man's ass was giving him second thoughts. And third.

And fourth.

Through the restaurant's din, Leroy could occasionally hear the two talking. Raven's voice made Leroy's heart ache with longing, but the man's voice, a lovely sing-song soprano, was so commanding, so authoritative, it made the big man feel about two feet tall. He got it. She had traded up. If Leroy had been her, he would have done the same thing. Not only was the guy good looking, but he was obviously respectable, too. A leather miniskirt, fishnet stockings, and a tiny belly shirt, he was dressed to impress for sure, but his respectability went beyond his clothes. The wait staff, the other diners, they all nodded to him as he passed, all seemed to defer to him when he spoke. Leroy wondered if the man was connected somehow, a high-roller of some kind. A politician? A celebrity? A gangster?

Maybe it was something more simple. While he looked young, perhaps he was the owner of the restaurant. Whatever the case, Leroy knew he was not a guy to mess with. Even it Raven were to bring her date over to his table to introduce him, he was sure that he would smile, shake the man's hand, and wish him well with his relationship. There was no way Leroy was in any position to stand up to him. He felt a knot of anxiety grow in his stomach as he briefly imagined that immaculately painted face staring him down, disappointment furrowed on those perfectly manicured eyebrows. No, the best man had won, and Leroy, while sad, was okay with it.

"Would you like to take a look at the dessert menu?" The waitress' voice snapped Leroy back to the present.

"Uh, no," he answered, "Can I just get the bill?"

"Of course," she pulled a paper slip from her apron and put it on the table in front of him, "Was everything okay?"

Leroy looked one last time across the restaurant to the woman the he had lost.

"Yes," he answered, "Everything is fine. Just how it's supposed to be."
