"Let's go this way", Tyra gestures with her weapon, indicating the passage to the left, and carefully begins making her way into the hallway, keeping an eye out for pressureplates and sundry other traps. Diana follows, focussing more on the ceiling instead: Monstrous spiders still freak her out.

The pair walk along an empty stone hallway for a few minutes, until they encounter a pair of plinths, one on either side of the hall. A carved stone hand stands upon either of these, palms open and fingers outstretched. Clearly very suspicious for any seasoned adventurer.

"Check what's this about," Tyra whispers.

-"Why me?" Comes the hushed reply,

"cause your arm's longer. Go use that sword o' yours and see if you trigger something"

With a soft 'hrumpf' Diana slips past Tyra, sticks out her longsword as far as she can, and waves it in front of and between the two plinths. A long pause. Nothing. After a lengthy beat of silence, the first sound to be heard is the scraping of Tyra's shoulderplates as she brings up her shoulders in a shrug.

"Maybe it's decorative, or a trap whose magic has faded?"

-"I... guess it's safe to continue then..?"

The pair gingerly step forward, sighing with relief as nothing happens when they physically pass between the plinths. A few seconds later though, Diana feels two soft pats on her rear-end. She swivels around, blade extended, but there's nothing there. Slightly disappointed, she lowers her blade.

Tyra turns to her: "What is it?"

-"I thought there was.. n-never mind."

"Heh, scaredy-cat," The dwarf chuckles, as she continues to walk.

- "No I'm not!" A prickly Diana snaps back. Tyra knows what's required to get under her skin, which is very little, and it's in numerous suply.

As they jog off, little do they know that a pair of mage hands are following them in the dark, invisible and incorporeal, planning misschief.
