Chapter 3 by Mad3777 Mad3777

What is Alex going to do ?

Leaving the island

Alex decided what he will do

A few days passed quickly, and the day Marco hated more than any other had finally arrived.

The wedding hall in the island chief’s residence was filled with guests. The air was thick with the scent of flowers and scented candles. Violet stood confidently in the elegant black Groom's attire that highlighted her tall, powerful figure. Her smile was arrogant and self-assured.She imagined what her life would be like with Alex, the beautiful and charming boy, then pictured him in her bed, moaning beneath her. A slight bulge appeared in her pants. Beside her stood her mother, Raida, the Chief of the Second Island, radiating authority and dignity,Her mother looked at her with threatening eyes, sending shivers down Violet's spine. She tried to straighten her pants so the bulge wouldn't show,

Marco was supposed to be waiting in the bride’s chamber for his father to escort him to the hall.

George entered the chamber with a smile, carrying a small bouquet of white flowers he had chosen himself for his son. But his smile froze instantly.

The room was empty.

"Marco...?" he called out with a trembling voice. He looked around frantically. The beautiful white wedding robe lay crumpled on the floor, and the back window was wide open.

George rushed out of the room, breathless, and went straight to his wife Margaret, who was standing near the entrance of the hall.

"Margaret! Marco... Marco isn’t there! The chamber is empty!"

Margaret’s face turned pale. She stared at her husband in shock and disbelief. The news spread like wildfire through the hall. The guests’ murmurs turned into an uneasy silence, then into chaotic whispering.

Violet stood in place, her expression shifting from surprise to intense anger. Raida, the island chief, narrowed her eyes coldly.

"What do you mean by 'empty'?" Raida asked in a sharp voice that cut through the silence.

"My son… my son has disappeared!" George said, his voice breaking, still unable to believe what was happening.

Raida’s anger became obvious. She rose to her full height and declared in a commanding voice that filled the entire hall

"Guards of the island! Search for him immediately! Close the port, search every house, every boat, and every corner of the island. No one leaves until the bride is found!"

The guards immediately rushed out of the hall, and a state of tension and chaos engulfed what was supposed to be a celebration.

Meanwhile, on a small, remote beach far from the village’s eyes…

Marco was sitting inside a small, old wooden boat, trembling slightly from tension and the cold sea breeze. He quickly removed the white wedding robe and threw it aside as if it disgusted him. Instead, he put on simple dark clothes he had hidden beforehand: an old shirt, work trousers, and a rough coat.

He sat on the edge of the boat for a moment, watching the island slowly grow smaller as he rowed with all his strength.

Silent tears streamed down his smooth cheeks.

"Mother… Father…" he whispered in a broken voice. "I’m sorry… I had ****."

He gripped the oars harder, rowing even more forcefully to distance himself further from the shore.

"I want to live my life… the way I choose. Not as… a breeding tool or a decoration for Violet."

His heart ached badly, but he didn’t stop rowing. The island where he grew up became smaller and smaller on the horizon, and with it, the last chance of returning to the life he once knew disappeared.

As he moved away from the island, Alex noticed something huge approaching from the other side; it was a ship.

What ship was it ?
