Chapter 10 by Ozmant Ozmant

Leave the Beach

You lay there for what felt like hours, the cold sand seeping into your skin, the pain in your body a constant, unrelenting presence. The moon rose higher in the sky, casting an eerie glow over the beach. You could hear the distant sounds of the city, the hum of traffic, the occasional shout or laugh. But here, in this secluded spot, it was just you and the memories of what had happened.

Finally, you managed to pull yourself to your feet, swaying unsteadily as you tried to find your balance. Your legs trembled, barely able to support your weight. You took a step, then another, each one sending jolts of pain through your abused body. The walk back to the city was going to be a nightmare, but you had ****. You needed to get home, to escape this place, to forget—if only for a little while.

As you stumbled along the beach, the sand shifting under your feet, you couldn't help but think about what Margaret had said. She would come for you again, she had promised. And the thought of facing her again, of enduring another one of her brutal assaults, made your heart race with fear.

But there was something else too, something you didn't want to admit even to yourself. A strange, twisted thrill that came with the thought of being dominated by her, of being used and abused by someone so powerful, so utterly in control. It was sick, wrong, but it was there, lurking in the back of your mind, waiting to be acknowledged.

You reached the edge of the beach, the concrete path leading up to the road stretching out before you. The city lights were brighter here, the noise louder. You hesitated for a moment, looking back at the dark expanse of the beach, the place where your world had been shattered.

Then, with a deep breath, you turned and began the long, painful walk home.
