All was well until she spotted a halfling in the crowd. "Pidgeon!" she said out loud, and Kendra asked "Do you know that halfling?"

"Yes! he is..." but she didn't get to finish her statement. Kendra's eyes narrowed as she saw him cut a passer by's purse, and conceal it inside his shirt. "Liandra, stay back" shadow tendrils flowed from her arm, and some of the people nearby took notice.

Pidgeon noticed something was wrong, but wasn't quick enough to run away.
