Learning to live in the Ever After.

Speeding down into the uncanny Valley of purple. On his graceful Jackalope, Juniper, with newfound willpower and a clear goal in mind. The Ever After like a living organism cleared a path for before him and his steed.

'Clear the mind, the road ahead becomes clear.' He smiled in thought. Never would he have believed he would be in a situation where that notion would actually be a fundamental working in of a world. But here he was.

Taking the path ahead which was becoming more clear as he rode forwards. He noticed something ahead, a swarm of creatures that resembled monkeys but with festive patterns Green and Yellow stripes. Normally a sight that made him awe, but given the way they were retracting their arms with some object in hand. Jaune drew out his broken sword.

"Up ahead Juniper. We got some monkey business to take care of." His steed nodded, none of them taking note of the line Yang in another world would have fallen in love with Jaune for saying. But now was the time to... DUCK!

The knight slipped a projectile by a hair's length. Then a volley of Blue Bananas were thrown his way, prompting him to call out to Juniper "Juniper! Steer clear and don't stop moving!" His furry friend knew the deal, strafing side-to-side, using the surroundings to their advantage, zig-zagging through the fruit-barrage to draw ever closer to the hostile Monkeys. Said monkeys, now panicking, franticly tree-hopped in order to find more fruits to use against the Knight and his Jackalope, unfortunately, for a few monkeys while hopping they were struck down by a charging Juniper who leaped into the air to bash them out of commission. So in retaliation, a nearby group of their kind tossed three coconut-like fruits at Juniper who couldn't maneuver in the air.

"Not on my watch!" Jaune chambered his shield over his opposite shoulder, prepping the Gravity Dust before swiping at the incoming coconuts. Blasting them back at the group of monkeys who threw them. The projectiles moved much faster than the Eye could see, so the Monkeys couldn't react in time when the Coconuts hit some of them in the head whilst most broke the trees they sat upon, making them fall **** either by direct hit or landing harshly on the ground. With that, Juniper landed safely and continued her stride through the dense tree line towards the last group of monkeys, the rest having fallen or retreated.

But they made one last stand, they formed a semi-circle formation in the trees they were stations. And whatever sort of bizarre insanity the Ever After could conjure up, they trees turned out to be some sort of giant slingshots and trampolines. Which they used to fire off a ton of fruits in every direction, making it hard for Jaune and Juniper to avoid getting hit. And a few fruits ricochet's off the trampoline trees and now converged on their position. But Jaune adjusting to the situation, ordered Juniper to "Jump!" and she did. Making the fruits narrowly avoid her and hitting the other fruits instead.

Whilst in the air, Jaune had quickly scanned the area and situation when the monkeys revealed their tree slingshots and trampolines. He formed a counter-attack in mind and the dodge he had Juniper perform was the best chance he had to use it. He leaped towards the nearest tree-trampoline, then using the elastic surface, launched through the area towards either a slingshot, or a trampoline. As he landed or soared through the trees, he took out the Monkeys one by one using either quick slashes or shield tackles. He also used his gravity dust to blast so fruits to one slingshot tree as well as pushing the downed monkeys towards the centre of the area.

After finally gathering up the Monkeys in a pile, Jaune pushed his enhanced Aura into his Gravity Dust shield to direct him mid-air towards the slingshot tree that caught the fruit he had directed earlier. Stabbing his broken blade into the top of the tree to both catch himself and ready the tree. This made the slingshot bend far down before rubber-banding back towards the centre of the battle, right towards the monkeys. The cargo was launched along with Jaune himself who rode atop the fruity projectile before blasting down on the cargo launching himself off the projectile and the load straight down faster into the monkeys.

The result, the monkeys were blasted straight off the ground and into the far ends of the forest. Meanwhile, Jaune had flipped himself over and was caught by Juniper, sitting on her back in his usual spot. This would have been such a cool ending to the battle, however, landing seated on Juniper's back as if he had mounted her did not feel to good for Jaune.

"Oouffff! Oh Brothers, my dick! Ow! Ow!" He had landed balls first onto Juniper's back instead of his glorious backside that Blake was jealous of.

Juniper looked back at Jaune in both worry and confusion, mewling a little to express her concern. But Jaune smiled and ruffled her fur.

"It's alright Juniper. Something stupid always happens with me." He took his time to allow his groin to recover before he ordering Juniper to continue towards their destination.

Jaune's mind

"Okay, where to next next?" He looked around and saw a Red Castle, a town with a giant flower surrounded by buildings, some other remote areas and much more from the edge of the trees he had just exited from.

"What to do? What to do?" He wondered.
