She knew if she ignored Mr. Howard he could make her life a living hell. She died inside when she turned to Jonathan and broke up their nightly routine of relaxing on the couch.

"I'll be right back." she said as she swung her legs off the couch where she had been lounging.

"Everything alright?" Jonathan asked, his eyes having seen her get a text--though he couldn't see the message from how he was sitting.

"Oh yeah, I just gotta use the bathroom." she lied.

"Oh....okay....cool."

Leah could tell he was on alert. Text message at night. Going to the bathroom suddenly.

*I gotta make this quick* she said as she went into the master bathroom and took off her shirt and bra.

"You okay honey?" Jonathan's voice sounded muffled through the bathroom door.

"Umm Yeah babe...just...ummm a little sick I'm okay though. I'll be alright."

*I hate that man* Leah said as she rushed to put her clothes on. Jonathan didn't know what was going on but he was a little on edge when she came back into the living room to act like nothing had happened.
