Lay back on the couch.

With legs feeling like jelly, you sit back on the sofa with a long sigh. You start to think about how you miss the Internet, video games, and things like that. There isn't much to do between adventuring. When you're actually sitting alone in your manor, all you can really do is read or rest. Though after such a chaotic journey, it is nice to get some peace and quiet, and some time of not worrying about dying. It really leads you to reflect on a lot of things.

Life isn't so bad. The skeletal clutches of **** keep grasping at my neck every single time we go out, but look at this. I my own manor. The couch is comfortable. The girls are a little crazy but also nice... and attractive too. But I better figure out more about myself soon. I'm getting a little worried about my part in all of this. Maybe I really am just a mistake, like a glitch. Who knows?

You hear footfalls and worry your time of solitude will be short-lived. However, Alice is the one entering the room. That's a lot less exhausting than many others that could have showed up.

"Excuse me, Kyle. May I sit with you?"

"Of course, Alice. This is your home now too."

She sits down right next to you. "May I ask something of you?"

"What is it?"

"I know that you have a team of four already, but I was wondering if I could accompany you all on the next quest you take. I will not get in the way. I simply want to see more of the world. More monsters and environments. What do you think?"

I don't see why she can't come with us, even if she doesn't do any fighting. She can always just watch.

"Sure. Why not? Though you might find we aren't as impressive and you think we are."

"That is fine, and I am sure you are all quite capable adventurers."

Well, we're not dead, I guess.
