Lauren plays along

"Hey there, Lauren!" Beaky said in a dumb, whimsical voice. "How are you today?"

Lauren looked out at the audience, looking like a deer caught in the headlights. As she turned her gaze to Maria, however, she gulped when she saw the other woman give her the same look as before. It said the exact same message: "Play along, or you'll regret it!"

Lauren sighed in defeat, realizing that she had ****. With a **** smile, she turned to the man in the penguin suit.

"Oh, golly, Mr. Beaky!" Lauren said in the most childish voice that she could muster, "I'm just super now that I'm here!"

Lauren was screaming in embarrassment on the inside as her cheeks went pink. She realized that it was better to be seen like this and remain anonymous, but it was still humiliating!

"And congratulations on graduating your potty training class!" Beaky chimed, patting the little woman on the head as Lauren turned a deeper shade of red.

"T-thank you, Mr. Beaky!" Lauren stammered with an awkward chuckle, "One day I hope to be a big kid and be out of diapers forever!"

Lauren could feel her pride and dignity dwindle away as she said this, her blush lighting up her entire face as she kept forcing a smile. She could only pray that no one she knew was watching this...

Maria looked down at her phone as she saw Vanessa had sent her another picture of the watch party. This one was of the entire party laughing hysterically. Under it, Vanessa had typed, "Maybe someday she will. Right now though, I think we all might need diapers! :D"

Maria quickly typed a response before looking back up to the show, stifling a giggle.

"Now then," Beaky called out, "let the show begin!"
