Lauren keeps walking

Dejected, Lauren decided to keep walking as she headed down the street. “Lauren do you want a ride?” Dennis tried asking.

“Leave me alone,” Lauren said as she flipped Dennis off who looked surprised and sad that Lauren was again being so rude to him.

He let her keep walking not bothering to tell her about her skirt as the others snickered. As Lauren walked she heard cars honking but ignored them.

She wasn’t even really paying attention to where she was going but her body was basically on autopilot.
