Chapter 2 by splotch splotch

Where do we find Lauren to begin?

Lauren is a pop star

Lauren had been discovered by a talent agent almost five years ago. He's seen her social media videos about fashion, noticed her high follower count and engagement, and decided this young beautiful woman had the makings to be a great pop star.

When he approached Lauren, she instantly signed him. He flattered her ego, telling her she deserved to be seen by millions, if not billions of people. Lauren definitely agreed! So he enrolled her in dance and vocal lessons. It turned out Lauren was great at either, but it hardly mattered. Pop wasn't about talent- it was about a marketable image, and a beautiful, stylish woman to put in front of people. Auto tune and backup dancers could take care of the performance.

A year later, her first album came out. 'Debutante' premiered in the top ten best sellers, instantly skyrocketing Lauren to success and fame. True, she hadn't written any of the songs, but she was happy to take credit for them! In a few months, Lauren had everything she wanted. She was a model, a fashion icon, on TV and billboards, and adored worldwide. Her already large ego inflated massively.

Part of her success was based in how little skin she showed. While pop stars like Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry did nearly nude photo shoots, videos and performances, Lauren hardly ever showed any skin. This was due to her padded bra and Spanx, which gave her the outline of a perfect figure, prevented her from showing anything below the knee or above the collar. She wore outfits that showed her perfect (but fake) curves, but never revealed more of herself. This left certain fans, mostly men, **** to see more of her. The teasing nature of her sex appeal created media buzz, and endless attraction.

Unfortunately, Lauren's inflated ego and secret insecurities made her very difficult to deal with. Now 20 and a rich celebrity, she treated everyone around her without the slightest consideration or care. She was harsh with her dancers, difficult with her agent, and a tyrant to her assistant. Little did she know, as high as she'd climbed, that only meant she had farther to fall...
