Lauren gets a phone call

Lauren squirmed feeling hot and bothered as they drove. Suddenly her phone started ringing, and she recognized the ringtone immediately to be her sister because she had set it to be a custom ringtone with ‘She’s a Bitch’ from the Missy Elliot on loop.

Lauren reached for her purse, but April had it secured and decided to pull the phone out and answer it, putting it on speaker.

“Hey, Vanny!” April said with a cheery smile. “It’s April. I’m with Lauren and you’re on speaker.”

“Oh, hey April,” Vanessa said. “I was just going to tell Lauren that mom wants her attending the family dinner tonight. It’s an important dinner because she’s going to introduce her new partner to us. So it’s not up for debate.”

“Oh wow, that’s amazing. Are friends allowed to come?” April asked.

“Oh definitely. She already gave me permission to invite Jason and Britney,” Vanessa said. “If you want you can come too and invite Dan as well. And I told Britney to invite her girlfriend.”

“Wait, Brit has a new girlfriend?” April said.

“Yeah, she’s seeing that girl… I forget her name. But I think she’s a cashier or some shit,” Vanessa said.

Lauren’s eyes widened. “I-is her name Jenny?” Lauren asked.

“Yes! That’s what it was,” Vanessa said. “How did you know?”

Lauren bit her lip as she had seen it on the cashier’s name tag. She prayed that maybe just maybe it was not the same girl. “Just a guess,” Lauren said.

“So you’re coming right?” Vanessa said. “Because if you don’t, mom might actually **** you.”

Lauren looked at April who had a smirk on her face and Lauren said. “Y-yeah, I’ll be there.”

“Great, I’ll let her know,” Vanessa said.

With that, Vanessa hung up. “Please,” Lauren pleaded. “Miss April, let me wear something. I don’t want to be naked in front of… all those people.”

“You said that you would rather be naked than wear clothes,” April said. “So now, you’re going to be naked OR I’ll just simply send Vanessa a text with the recording and then let her deal with it.”

Lauren whimpered as Dan turned around as they headed towards Lauren’s mom’s house.
