Lauren cries

In the end, humiliation won out as the dominant emotion. Lauren felt her lip begin to quiver as she sat there in the sandbox, looking up at her tormentors.

“Stop laughing at me!” Lauren yelled, feeling her eyes start to become watery. “You girls are mean!”

“Aww, is the big baby going to cry?” Tammy asked mockingly. When she looked at Lauren’s face, she and the other girls laughed even harder.

“Oh my gosh! She is going to cry!” Louise said through her laughter.

Lauren sat there, sniffing and shaking. The humiliation was too much; she couldn’t take it anymore! Taking in a deep breath, Lauren threw her head back and began loudly bawling; tears running down her face. This apparently was amusing to the three terrors, as the girls continued to point and laugh at the little woman for a while. Lauren then got up and ran towards the bench Jessie was sitting at, unable to take the humiliation.

Jessie had been sitting on the bench watching (and recording) the events in front of her unfold – from the moment that Lauren began to play in the sandbox to the moment that she began wailing. Now that Lauren was racing towards her, however, Jessie put her phone down – at an angle that allowed her to still record everything.

“Sweetie, what’s wrong?” Jessie asked, her voice sickeningly sweet.

“I want to go home!” Lauren cried. However, Jessie stopped her and turned Lauren to face her; putting her hands on both shoulders.

“What’s wrong?” Jessie asked again, pretending to not have any idea what happened.

“Whatever she told you isn’t true!” a voice called out. Lauren looked over her shoulder to see Louise and her friends run up to Jessie.

“Oh, and what exactly happened?” Jessie asked the three.

“Don’t listen to –“

“Lauren, hush!” Jessie scolded, causing the little woman in question to pale in horror; why had Jessie used her real name?!

“We were playing in the sandbox together.” Louise lied. “Then she had an accident and told us that she was going to get us in trouble by saying that we tickled her!”

“Lauren,” Jessie asked in faux shock as she turned to Lauren, “is that true?”

Lauren was about to open her mouth to answer when she saw Louise glare at her. The redheaded girl then mouthed out, ‘you tell her the truth, and you’ll be sorry', shaking her fist at the little woman while her friends nodded. Lauren gulped. These girls already proved how strong they were after pinning her down and tickling her, so there was a chance that this threat wasn’t empty. Not only that, but Lauren noticed that – much to her humiliation – the three were actually a few inches taller then she was.

On the other hand, their story implied that Lauren had merely wet herself on purpose; she couldn’t say that!

Lauren had to decide quickly though. Should she tell Jessie the truth, or should she stick with Louise’s humiliating story?

Of course, Jessie knew that the girl’s story wasn’t even remotely true; so it wouldn’t had mattered what Lauren said.
