"I am well aware of who you are, Ms Cohan." Dr Darke gushed like a schoolboy with a crush at his glamorous new client. "If you don't mind me saying, I'm something of a fan."

"Does that mean I get a discount?" The British-American actress joked as she began to remove her jacket and make herself comfortable.

"You'll need to let me know how I can help you first." The doctor replied eagerly.

"Well, this will probably sound ridiculous since I am thirty-nine years old and have been in film in television for most of my adult life, but just recently I have been getting stage fright. It's starting to affect my work."

Dr Darke nodded for her to continue.

"It's pretty embarassing really and I've no idea what's causing it. It's never happened before. Perhaps I'm subconsciously worried about hitting forty and not getting offered big roles anymore and I'm trying too hard to impress? I'm worried people might start to notice sonething is off. So I guess I was hoping for a miracle quick fix which, going by your reputation, you may be able to offer. And obviously I'd appreciate it if this matter remained private."

"I can assure you everything that happens in our sessions will remain strictly between the two of us." The doctor responded with a wry smile.

"Great, then I'm all yours!" Lauren beamed with relief.

"Excellent. Now to start us off I'd like you to relax, close your eyes and count back from a hundred to one. You will soon find yourself drifting off into a trance."

"Sure! Sounds simple enough!" Lauren enthused as she closed her eyes and began to count. "One hundred, ninety-nine, ninety-eight..."

Before long the Walking Dead star stopped speaking and began to slouch in her seat. She was completely under Dr Darke's spell.

The doctor moved towards his famous client and gently stroked her hair as he spoke.

"You are mine now, Lauren." He spoke almost lovingly "You will follow every instruction and suggestion I give you, however degrading or unpleasant it may sound. You may not understand why, but you will find yourself overwhelmingly eager to please me. You will be **** to impress me, to carry out every instruction I give you to the limit of your abilities and you will find you are capable if things you imagined were impossible when it comes to obeying my commands. You will not remember this conversation when you wake up, but the suggestions I have just given you will remain deeply rooted in your subconcious."

He moved back to his seat and sat down as his words became the new reality of his celebrity crush.

"Now you can open your eyes."

Lauren gradually woke, regained her bearings and sat back up in her seat.

"Wow, that must have been powerful stuff to put me out like that." Lauren exhaled a little and ran one hand through her hair "Did it work?"

"We made a good start." The doctor lied "But I think it would be best if we continued your treatment back at my place."

"Of course! What a great idea!" Lauren replied immediately. She wasn't sure that it was a great idea, in fact the suggestion felt a little creepy and innapropriate. But for some reason she couldn't bear the idea of upsetting Dr Darke.

"Why don't I book us an Uber?" She suddenly suggested as she urgently began to fiddle with her phone "It will get us there quicker. And I'll pay, of course. Just let me know your address and I can book it right now!"

Dr Darke smiled to himself. Today was going to be a good day after all.
