You're still suffering from your beating. The last thing you need is to get beat up more.

"I'm assuming I'll be even more sore tomorrow," you say. "But if I'm not, we can start then. Otherwise the day after."

"Since you're going to be sore tomorrow anyway, why not just go for it today?" Jackie asks.

"I just can't make myself do it," you say. "I promise we'll get to it soon."

She nods slowly. "Don't wait too long. They're not going to go easy on you next time."

If the beating you already got was them going easy, you definitely don't want to get beat hard.

{else}You kiss Jackie. She stiffens when your lips meet hers, then she relaxes and you feel her lips yield beneath your won.

Well, hell, you decide to go for it and deepen the kiss.

Again, you sense her momentary **** but before you can back off she meets your kiss, her tongue exploring your mouth, her hands running over your beat and bruised body.

"I... I'm worried about you," she says as she breaks the kiss.

"Me too," you admit. "And I'm worried about you, too. Because I'm not sure these guys have any limits and if they don't, they'll be coming after my friends as well."

"You know that's not the most reassuring thing you could say, right?"

"Yeah. I'm trying to see reality here, not lie about it."

"Anyway," she pulls away. "If you're too injured to train, you're too injured to make out. And don't worry about me. I can take care of myself."

You're sure she can. You're also sure that if whoever is after you decides to go after her, they'll know that she's tough and will send enough goons to deal with her.

"Actually," you try, "making out makes me feel better."

She brushes a kiss on your lips. "Imagine how nice it will feel, then, when you're training." Then she jogs off leaving you stiff and needy, watching her tight and muscular butt fade into a San Francisco fog.
