Later, in the woods:

Wolverine and Kitty quietly stalk through the woods approaching Richard's encampment. Kitty was always impressed at how fast Logan could silently move through the woods. She could be as quiet, but only if she is phased. Of course, while she was phased, she couldn't breath!

Before they started the hike, he told her, "I don't want you to get in sight o' this guy. We don't want him getting too excited. We're gonna spot him from far off. YOU are gonna confirm it's him with these binoculars, and then STAY hidden. I'm gonna make a whole lotta noise like a typical hiker and 'accidentally' stumble into his camp."

Then as he turns away he mumbles, "I'll be OK, as long as Emma isn't right..."

For several months, Kitty has been planning for a mission in the woods, and she put together a sharp hiking outfit. She found these suede boots and a matching swede jacket, which was more of a vest. She wanted to make sure she would look fantastic even in the woods!

And Logan ruined it by rubbing grease on her face, switching her stylish boots with ugly black waterproof ones, and making her wear a GRAY raincoat with a GRAY wide-rimmed hat! "Just in case Storm needs to do her thing. We don't have a camo raincoat, and I'm gonna make sure we get several when we get back..."

Kitty thought to herself, "Well, I guess it could have been worse. I could be wearing all camo..."
