Late for work

Mary didn't usually sleep naked, but last night was so hot during the dog days of summer that she had no choice. She set her alarm for 7:30, but subconsciously kept snoozing until she realized it was 8:30 and she was late for work.

Suddenly panicking, she jumped up, grabbed her keys, phone, and wallet, and bolted out of her apartment, down the stairs, and on the street.
