Last minute prep and last chances

The walk home sobered you up significantly. You had always been able to handle your liquor well, that was partly what made it so dangerous for you and you had by and large stopped drinking. By the time you got home, all you needed was a glass of water and you'd be right as rain tomorrow. But as soon as you opened the front door, Jess's voice calling for you brought reality crashing down around you once again. "Give me 10 to 20 minutes Jess, I just got some last minute things to do first!" You called back.

You went to your room, gathered up some papers, a passport and a hold all bag and went back downstairs to your car. You opened the passenger side first and put the papers and passport in the glove compartment then went to the driver's side to pop the trunk. The fake plates, shotgun, Glock and ammo were all still there, secure and hidden. You dumped the holdall in the trunk and closed it. Locking the car again, you went back to your room. Opening up your laptop you hacked into the DMV database and changed your car's registration to her name, changed the insurance policy to her name, and registered the fake plates to the name on the fake passport and license you had prepared. Then you hacked into the federal census: birth registry to add a record of the fake persona you had created. Once you had completely covered everything you needed to, you closed your laptop down for the last time. Sighing heavily, you left your car keys on your desk and went to Jess's room.

Jess was naked, sitting cross legged in her gaming chair, waiting for him. She had hidden the toilet box along with her other purchases under her bed for now. She motioned for you to sit on the bed. "So where have you been?" She asked curiously, she hadn't really expected her brother to go drinking, but she could smell the whiskey and beer in his breath.

"Andy's," you replied, "he's doing well and so are the others." Jess smiled, she liked Andy. Andy and his regulars had looked out for both you and her for ever. She was glad that you had decided to spend your last day as a free man catching up with him.

Sighing deeply, she reached over and passed you the legal contract and the doctors note. "Before we begin your education and demise, I'll need you to sign these for me." She watched him closely as he carefully read over the contract. "This is your last chance to back out bro," she said softly, "if you sign these documents then there's no going back. I won't think less of you if you do back out now, but if you go through with this, then you will be dead on Friday night, and **** is not reversible."

You look up at her, a strange smile playing at your lips. Sadness was there sure, so was love, the pure, protective and enduring love of a big brother for his little sister. There was something else though, was it... Pity? "Right back at you sis." You replied equally as softly, "are you sure this is what you really want to do? As you said, once I sign these, there's no going back and you will have to face the consequences of murdering your brother. I know you sis, maybe better than you know yourself. Are you really sure you want this?" Jess gulped and nodded slowly. You sigh heavily. "Then before I sign these, I do have one final request for you, in my closet there is a large cardboard box, I've put your name on it so it should be obvious which one I'm talking about. Once the deed is done, I want you to open it and carefully look through the contents. I will need you word on on this!" Jess was stunned, you were really planning to go through with this? She started getting wet.

"Of course bro! I swear it!" She was insanely curious about the box now, but she only had to wait for one week before that itch could be scratched. Sighing again, you signed the documents with a flourish. Your fate is now sealed. "Now, go to the bathroom and carefully and thoroughly brush your teeth and wash your mouth. Then come back here." Jess ordered.
