Larry asks the question...but what will be the cost?

After Larry drops Kate off at home she runs to her room. lays on the bed and cuddles up in the softness of Larry's gym clothes. She smiles and breaths in the sent and imagines what it would be like to have him next to her in bed cuddling. A few minutes later, her phone rings, its Larry. He asks Kate if she had fun? She said that she did and she'd have his sweatsuit back to him in the morning. Then he asks her if she is seeing anyone now, Kate hesitates for a moment, not quite sure what he is asking and then quickly says "No...no, I'm not seeing anyone at the moment", she stops just short of telling him that she's never really had a serious boyfriend. Larry then tells Kate that he really likes her and was hoping that maybe she would consider seeing him exclusively? She is shocked and excited, she's never really been asked out before and she tries to hold back her excitement and says "Yes, I'd like that a lot!". At the time she doesn't even notice how he crafted the question by asking if she wanted to see him exclusively, he never said anything about him seeing her exclusively. Larry then says, "thats great, thats just what i wanted to hear, I can't wait to see you tomorrow at work". As he hangs up the phone Kate thinks she hears some girls giggling in the background but the line goes dead and she shrugs it off and can't believe that she has a boyfriend. As she lays in bed, she starts to think of thoughts that she's never really explored before. She has visions of Larry kissing her deeply and passionately and she starts to breath heavy and has a warm fuzzy feeling in her stomach and it travels down from there to the middle of her legs. her hand slips into the baggy sweatpants and she feels the warm wetness between her legs. Being brought up in a strict religious household, this is forbidden ground for Kate but she's becoming a women now. Suddenly she freezes and starts to think about what might be expected of her from a handsome experienced young man like Larry...she pulls her hand from the sweatpants and remembers what a gentlemen Larry has been and convinces herself that she has nothing to worry about. So naive.

The next day at work is a blur for Kate. She's so excited to see Larry but as usual he strolls in just before lunch with no repercussions. Kate see's him walking across the office and she is ready with his clothes from the night before neatly folded and ready to be returned. Larry see's Kate and nods but then turns and stops at Tracy's desk. They seem to be laughing a little, then Tracy gives him a serious look and just shakes her head. Tracy gets up and they both walk into a conference room, soon after Cindy walks into the room with papers in her hand. Then Kate's desk phone rings, its Tracy and she tells Kate to come to the conference room...now! Kate, stops her filing and hurries over to the room not knowing what is happening.

She walks in and Cindy says "Larry tells us that the 2 of you will be dating now and as such you will both have to abide by the company dating policy". She slides some papers over to Kate and says, "You'll need to sign these, you can read them if you want but its just some basic stuff, no making out in the office or making the other employees uncomfortable, and Larry has already signed them. Larry smiles at Kate and says, gotta make it official" and motions for her to sign the papers. Kate starts to read the first one and Tracy gets up, annoyed and says "is this gonna take all day?" the Kate gets nervous, signs the 3 or 4 pages and hands them to Cindy.

Tracy and Cindy storm out of the room and Larry looks at Kate and says "sorry about that but my dad owned the company so I have to make sure I do everything by the books". Kate smiles and says, "thats okay, it feels a little weird, I probably should have read the papers but..." Larry cuts her off and says. "don't worry about it, who reads that stuff anyway". Kate asks Larry if he wants to grab lunch but he says he can't because he has other plans today but he tells Kate that his dad is going away for the weekend and he wants her to come over to his house on Friday night and hang out. Kate smiles and says "sure". Then Larry walks across the office stoping by where a few of the girls from his party are chatting, they casually look Kate's way smirk then Larry walks out of the office and a minute later a few of them announce that they're going to lunch. Kate doesn't really think anything of that but Larry doesn't come back to the office that day and the girls that followed him stroll back in 2 hours later.

Its Thursday night and Kate is at home in her room carving the date into her desk..the date she got a boyfriend. She can't wait until tomorrow night to spend some time with Larry and get to know him better away from the office and all his friends. Its 11:30 and the phone rings, its Larry. He sounds like he's in a crowd and he sounds happy, maybe drunk (or high)? He tell Kate to come over after work tomorrow. Kate, confused asks, won't I see you at work tomorrow? Larry tells her that he doesn't work on Fridays but he'll see her when she gets to his house. Then he tells her that the house will be empty so she can plan on staying the night is she likes, he mentions that there are plenty of bedrooms, trying to pretend like he has pure thoughts. Then he tells her that he cant wait to see her...not in her tuff work clothes or that old 1 piece bathing suit. Kate feels a little conflicted, not sure what he meant but she was going to have to do some shopping tomorrow at lunch, she definitely doesn't want to disappoint her new, first boyfriend.
