"Earth to Lara..."

Lara blinked. She wasn't lying in a warm bed with her lover. She was laid out next to a campfire on her friends lap. Sam was looking down at her with a crooked smile, like she wasn't sure if she should be concerned or amused. Lara's heart did a little dance in her chest as she realized she had been staring at Sam for who knows how long.

"I'm fine! Just...zoned out for a bit!" Lara said a little too quickly, smiling a little too wide.
