Fujimaru's essense traveled through a tunnel of light. Blue energy swirling all around him. He felt relaxed, incomporial. Was this what it was like to be pure energy? It was a familiar feeling. He had Rayshifted so often that this state of being was almost second nature so as he began to rematerialize, for just a second, Fujimaru felt something different. Something wrong with the process.
Suddenly the tunnel was filled with white light. Ritsuka's eyes stained from the brightness. His eyes. They were back. He had rematerialized. He felt his body again. His lungs filled with breath, his leg and back muscles contracted to keep him standing, and his eyes adjusted so he could see. Fujimaru stood in the center of a large field on wheat, they were only about waist high but the stocks stretched on for miles. In the distance he saw rolling hill and what looked to be a medieval farmhouse. There was no mistaking it this was the First Singularity, Hundred Years' War of the Evil Dragon: Orleans.
"Guess we're skipping Fuyuki." Fujimaru exclaimed raising his hand to block the sunlight.
"Fuyuki was more of a catalyst rather then a true singularly." Mashu replied from behind him. "Although considering this is just a Da Vinci experiment, I suppose it could have gone either way."
"Well. I guess we should start looking for the grail. Da Vinci didn't really give us any hints but if this IS a perfect recreation of First Singularity..."
"Then the grail will likely be in the same place. Orleans Castle! Good thinking, Senpai."
"Thanks Mashu." Fujimaru said turning towards his Kohai. "Now its just a question of how we get th-" Ritsuka's choked on his own words as he gazed over at his Kohai. His face was stiff and shocked. Mashu, concerned as to why her Senpai had sudden gone silent, turned her gaze towards him and was instantly hit with the same affliction.
Mashu and Fujimaru had been standing about a meter apart as often happened when they rematerialized. Save for the times they accidentally manifested in the sky. Like always their Combat Uniforms were gone. When they entered a singularity those outfits didn't rematerialize and were replaced with Mashu's Spirit Armor and Fujimaru's Mystic Code. That is what normally happened. This time their combat uniforms had dematerialized, but NOTHING had rematerialized.
Mash and Fujimaru had materialized facing the same direction too busy checking their surroundings to check one another. Now they were frozen, completely incabable of movement from the massive shock. The only visual changed between them was their slowly reddening faces. Then eventually words started to appear.
"I-um-I"
W-why?"
Their bodies started to shake as the reality sank deeper and deeper in. Mashu's toes curled racking the soil beneath her feet while Ritsuka eyes nearly bulged out of his skull! They were naked. Together! The screams echoed throughout the field.
