Land.

Far from the castle is a large building beneath your feet. Before you land, Lala leaps over to the coming rooftop and holds out her arms--leg back, bracing herself as well. She's fast. You notice she's waving a hand in the air to get your attention as well.

"Throw Fang down here!" Lala yells.

"Right!" You look to Fang. She doesn't need to be told twice.

Fang hurls herself from your arm, and she's caught easily by the ready rabbitfolk below.

Then Delphi flutters ahead. She extends a web of purple bands to wrap around both you and Vivi. It doesn't have an incredible amount of strength, but it slows you down even further. Thanks to her aid, you're now heading towards the roof a a leisurely pace.

Your feet touch down softly as the bands disappear.

Just as fast as you land, you fall to your knees. You're **** to put the witch down as you catch your breath. "That... took a lot out of me..." you mutter. I clearly have no control over this power at all. I feel like I burned myself out entirely just doing it once, but it barely did anything last time. Was it because I went farther? Or maybe I just need a lot more practice.

"I can barely walk too," Vivi admits. She flops over onto her stomach. "I've barely eaten."

Fang sits down next to you. "Well, we need to go!"

"If we don't regain our energy, the might catch us before we even get far from the city walls," says Lala. "Isn't that Rose's Bud over that way?"

Lucky for us. We landed pretty close, and it definitely felt like the sort of place people would go to hide. As much as I'd prefer to flee the city right now, we really do need to rest our bodies first. Vivi needs food especially. "Let's get moving then," you say. "Quickly now. I feel like on a list of crimes, breaking in and out of the royal dungeon is probably high on the list, above treason and below regicide."

Albeit begrudgingly, the party moves their tired bodies down towards the raggedy tavern once again. All you can do is hope the bartender is as willing to help as last time.
