Lamia.

My head swirls as I try and take everything in. _I don't understand, why me? I'm nothing special. _My thoughts bounce around in my head as I'm unable to think strait. Thankfully, Andria snaps me out of it.

"Calm down Cass. I know it's a lot to put on you all at once, but I need you to focus." I look up at Andria, her eyes having an almost calming effect on me. Shaking my head slightly, I close my eyes and try to focus. Remembering back, she said that there were lamia, nekomatas, and harpies waiting for us.

Harpies are good at scouting with their ability to fly, which can't be taken lightly. Though, scouting is only so good once combat actually starts, as they aren't very offensive. Nekomatas are fast and stealthy, able to leap in and out of battle, an overall good fighter. Though what they lack is raw power, using a flurry of blows rather then a single powerful one. Creatures with hard armor give these cat girls trouble. Lamias are the bruisers of the group, able to hold their own with their strength and defense. This power does come at a cost, as they aren't the fastest creatures and stealth can be an issue because of their size relative to the others.

Considering everything up to this point, I find it hard to decide upon one or the other. Andria sees my deep thought. "You know you don't have to decide tonight. You got until morning." Not wanting to inconvenience her, you make up your mind.

"No. I think I've made up my mind. Let's go to the lamia camp. They seem like the best place to start." Andria lets out a husky laugh. "Alright, if that's what you think. We'll head there in the morning. Now, return to your quarters, get some rest. You'll need it for tomorrow." I nod my head, swiftly making my way towards my tent. My mind is still swirling as I push the flaps aside. I can't imagine what it's going to be like tomorrow. I flop down onto my cot, and no sooner feel like I'm about to pass out. It doesn't take long for me to drift off, falling asleep within minutes of laying down.
