What Is the Next Step in His Plan?
Lady Qigong (Qufu, China, 530 B.C.)

Qigong sat on the mat, breastfeeding her baby. In her family growing up, she had been considered a great beauty. She was barely older, still her early twenties, but between her marriage and her son, she did not feel particularly beautiful. Her husband was often away, and his son took up much of her time.
The last time she and Kong had spoken, three weeks ago, they had fought. Or she had fought with him and he had listened. He always kept a remarkably even keel, but that wasn’t because he was weak. He was almost impossible to move, she had found, like a stone. She had not married him for him to become a traveling teacher, leaving her home alone with the baby, she said. But he could not change his work, he told her, and she could hardly come with him, given the baby and the rigors of life on the road. He could get a job as a bureaucrat, she told him. He had been born into the shi, the warrior/scholar class, like her, and educated. He would likely be able to find steady work, given her father’s connections. Perhaps even an appointment as a Governor of a town, or some other such position. But he wouldn’t hear of it.
Kong saw the chaos in the land and thought it was because the bonds of fealty that had bound together the Zhou Kingdom and its allies and vassals had broken down. Qigong did not disagree with his assessment, but she found surprising and troubling the extent that Kong threw himself into the seemingly futile solution of remedying the situation one student at a time. He was still in his twenties and already had his disciples, it was true, but without the ear of the truly powerful, it felt like her husband had set himself the task of bailing the water out of a boat filled with holes.
As she was putting her baby back in his creche, she heard a knock at her door. Quickly, she buttoned up her cheongsam dress before moving to answer it. She often left it undone when she was by herself these days, but for company she needed to at least presentable. Not that she had been expecting any kind of guests. She went through the various possible tradesmen it might be in her head, wondering if she had forgotten something she had purchased from one or the other.
When she opened the door, she raised her eyebrows in surprise. He was a laowai, a foreigner, and his appearance and dress were very strange.
“I…greetings.” She bowed her head slightly. “Welcome, guest. May I ask, are you lost? She felt around behind the door for the large staff she kept there. A lone foreigner she didn’t recognize, with her here all alone...it was not a good situation. But proprieties must be observed, until he showed his intentions.
“I’m looking for the wife of Master Kong,” the man said, in perfect Mandarin. He looked her up and down in a way that felt somehow predatory, and Qigong shifted uncomfortably. “Is she here?”
She looked over her shoulder, back toward her child, then stepped forward, closing the door behind her. “May we speak out here?” she asked. “The baby’s asleep.”
“Of course,” the man said. “You know, people don’t change, no matter when or where you go.”
“I…guess not,” Qigong agreed, confused. “I…I’m Master Kong’s wife. Lady Qigong.” She bowed her head slightly again.
“Oh yeah,” the man said, looking her up and down again. “You’ll do.”
Then he raised a strange object and a light shined in Qigong’s eyes. She forgot what happened after that.

When she came to, she was sitting on a stool on the walk outside her house, the stranger next to her, his arm around her shoulder. It should have made her a little uncomfortable, but the feel of him so close to her brought up feelings she did not immediately understand.
“I…what happened?” she asked.
“You just fainted,” the man told her. “It must be the lack of sleep, I know how it can be with a child.”
This was incredibly embarrassing. She was not so far gone that she was simply falling over in her garden, was she? The man rubbed her back in an apparent attempt to comfort her. He was certainly being overly familiar, but for whatever reason she did not want it to stop. And Kong was not here, after all, she thought. He could not leave his beautiful wife alone for weeks on end without thinking that she would never even look at another man.
“I know I’m a stranger here,” he said, “but I noticed you’re wearing a dress in the presence of a man. Have I insulted you in some way?”
Qigong blinked as she stood up in her garden. How could she so dishonor him as to have worn clothes in front of him? Had her husband been go so long that she had completely forgotten her manners?
“I apologize, sir, I don’t know what I was thinking,” she said quickly. She immediately began to work the clasps on her cheongsam, then threw it down on the ground in her garden. She pulled off her undergarments, as well, then stood in her garden, completely nude, her swollen breasts and her pussy fully exposed.
The man looked Qigong up and down once again, but this time all she felt was her cunt moistening at his eyes taking her in. He stood and walked around her, looking at her body from every angle. Then he reached and grabbed her right breast, immediately running a finger over her engorged nipple. Ecstasy twinged in her, but she knew it was wrong.
“Sir, I remind you–” she began.
“Relax,” the stranger said. “It is completely normal for guests to grope their hosts’ tits. Isn’t it?”
“I…” she trailed off. Obviously he was right. “I apologize, I’ve been very tired,” she said. “Of course. Your knowledge of our customs is great, for a…”
“A foreigner?” he asked. “Does that excite you? Do you imagine what it would be like to lie with a stranger whose name you don’t even know?”
Her breath caught. Of course she had those fantasies, but she couldn’t admit it to him. No matter how good his touch felt. “I…You are my guest, sir,” she said, desperately trying to get her breathing under control. “Please, you asked for me. Why? I do not know you.”
“Before we discuss it,” the man said, “I hate to ask, since I know you’re exhausted, but would you suck my cock for me? It’s a totally normal request from a guest, right?
She hesitated for a moment, because something about it seemed wrong, somehow. But on the other hand, Kong wouldn’t have wanted her to make such an egregious breach of decorum. She gestured toward her door. “Yes, please come inside and I would be happy to.”
He shook his head. “I think it’s really nice out here, actually. Is that OK?”
Qigong glanced toward the end of her front walk, where it met the main road. “Sir, someone might see, I cannot–”
“All anyone will see is a dutiful wife fulfilling her obligations to an honored guest,” he interrupted. “Isn’t that right?”
She couldn’t help looking down at the stranger’s crotch. She saw the bulge there and felt her own juices start to run down her inner thigh.
“Yes, you’re right,” she said. She got down on her knees in her garden, and he pulled down his pants to reveal his cock. She gasped. It was perfect.
Qigong tentatively wrapped a hand around it and kissed the tip. She looked up at her guest. “I apologize, sir,” she said, “for my inexperience in this area. We rarely receive guests, and my husband has not asked me to serve him in this way.”
The stranger smiled at her predatorily, grabbed her by her hair, and **** his cock into her mouth. She gagged for a moment before he pulled her head back.
“That’s OK, cunt,” he said. “We’ve got plenty of time to train you before your husband gets back.”
