Chapter 7
by The Night
What will happen to Lucky Girl?
Lady Luck strikes!!!
Just when all seemed hopeless, Lady Luck struck again. An explosion, no doubt the work of firebreather, rocked the boat. The lights on the bow then flickered and went off. As they did, I found myself able to move again. Of course. Night needed light to create a shadow. Without it, she had no power. I could still make out Night in the dark and couldn't help but chuckle. "Looks like the tables have turned again Night." Clearly angry, Night took a swing at me, which I sidestepped. As she went off balance, one of the heals snapped and she fell the the deck of the ship. Hitting her head, she passed out. Chuckling to myself, I walked over to the now **** villain. "Guess my luck held up, a Night?"
My gloating was interrupted by the sudden arrival of Firebreather, who landed on the deck with a thud. He had a look like he was ready to fight. I immediately put my hands up. "Easy there big boy. I'm not one of them." He narrowed his eyes at me before looking down at Night. When he did he stood up right. As he did, He shrink slightly and his draconic features slowly disappeared. At least from his face. He then wrapped his wings around his shoulders. If I hadn't seen him do it, I would have sworn he was wearing a cloak or something. What surprised me though was as some of his draconic features disappeared, he seemed....different. Alot younger than I was expecting and.....handsome.....in a weird sort of way.
"Sorry about that. I know the whole dragon man thing can be a little much. Who are you?" His question snapped me back to my senses. "Uh....Luc....uh...Lucky....Lucky Girl." "Oh yeah, I've heard of someone going by that name. For a newibe, you sure ended up in crazy situation. How'd you end up out here?" I recounted my story to him. I found it was suprisingly easy to talk to him. Never thought someone who minutes ago was tearing through bad guys would be so easy going. I did leave out certain details though. Namely the bit about the orgasmatron. I did probably go a little red there thinking about that though. I was standing in front of a handsome and famous superhero with a still slightly aching pussy. "That's some story Luck. Sounds to me like you've had some mixed luck tonight." "Uuuhhh. You have no idea. I have no idea what is going on." "Well, wish I could tell you. Gotta be honest, speaking as magical being, you're powers are odd." "Magic?" I asked curiously. "I'll tell you about it some other time. Anyway, Scarlet Knight sent me out here to intercept a shipment of human cargo but I didn't realize it was just one." "Glad to know I was worth the trouble." I said playfully. "Well, Yeah, I'd say so." THat made me blush.
Pulling some kind of communication device out of his pocket, he spoke into it. "Wind? Yeah, stopped the boat. Yeah it was just one person. Actually, it was another superhero. You heard of Lucky Girl? Yeah that's her." There was a pause "Yeah....I'd say so." I thought I noticed a slight blush on his cheeks. "Yeah, the boats not going anywhere and neither are these crimenals. You wanna get the police out here? Great. Thanks." He then scowled. "Goodnight Wind." He said before hanging up the phone. "Wind?" I asked curiously. "She's Scarlet Knight's eyes and ears. She keeps us up to date on things going on in the city." "Us?" He shrugged. "Yeah, the Superheroes in the city. Good guys gotta stick together right?" "Oh of course." "Anyway, police will be here soon. We best get out of here." "Easy for you to say. They took my whip and I'd say it's too far a swim for me." He smirked before scoping up up in his arms like a Princess. "No problem." He said before taking into the sky.
