"You will accompany my love. I want you to show her the darkness." Dracula smiled the next night as they gathered in a chamber of the complex. "I wish that you take care of her."
"Look out?" Talia asked and raised a brow.
"Yes, my dear. You may be a more than capable fighter, but the Night has changed for you. You must first learn to deal with your new powers and senses and Zatanna has learned a lot from me in the short time. But that's not the real reason."
"And what would be the reason?" Zatanna asked curiously.
"I don't trust either of you when it comes to my prey."
Talia wanted to answer something when the shadow of Dracula shot up the wall and the room as such seemed darker.
"i said you won't attack my own prey" Dracula shouted severely and saw his two wives fleeing from him only to gently reach out his hands to them. "I don't want anything to happen to you!"
"You mean you don't want us to get hurt because we have to endure your anger, do you?" Zatanna smiled and both women saw Dracula nod.
"Take good care of her while I think about where we're going next."
"Don't you think you're being a little too careful? Full moon's not for two weeks. And as a human being, he is no longer on a par with us!"
Dracula slowly approached his first wife and gently stroked her cheek before he grabbed her throat and squeezed it.
"FOOLISH. You have so much to learn!" was the last they heard from him before he left the room.
"You have so much to learn!" was the last they heard from him before he left the room.
The two women looked at each other with concern and felt that Dracula was worried about them. And that you should never underestimate Bruce Wayne. Both knew Bruce Wayne aka Batman much better than Dracula but only he knew the full power of a werewolf. And only he knew what a Batman could do to a body of a werewolf.
As they scurried through the darkness of the city, Zatanna was amazed at the just too eerie elegance with the Talia scurrying from roof to roof. It was clear that Talia was more the physical aspect of Dracula's power. While she herself had inherited the mystical powers of her husband, it was different with her. When she jumped over a ravine with a single sentence without the slightest sign of exertion, Zatanna smiled. With a simple little spell she teleported herself to the other side and appeared right next to the just landing Talia.
"Have you... seen them before? The wolves," Talia asked when she noticed Zatanna.
"Just once..... One... I can tell you I've never seen such a creature before. It was gigantic. A being that radiated pure raw power and violence."
"Did you fight?" she asked curiously and looked down from above at the city below her.
"No. I came just in time to save our master. The monster had hurt him badly. I withdrew to save him. I'm afraid I'm not strong enough at this point..." she said when Talia suddenly raised her hand and her brows tightened.
"There!" She said before she ran off hastily. Zatanna followed her as well as she could, but then had to resort to her supernatural powers to stay close to Talia at all. She had to admit that she would probably never be able to keep up with her. Suddenly she jumped from a house roof into the deep and could hear it immediately.
The angry roar of a werewolf.
"TALIA NO!" she shouted in panic, but when she reached the parapet everything was already over. As she looked down, she found Talia surrounded by two bodies that were apparently shrinking. Zatanna also jumped down and landed next to her. She could see one of the 2 werewolves slowly transforming into a human being only to turn to dust.
"Seriously? That was easy" Talia grinned and noticed Zatanna´s worried look. "What?"
"Something's coming! Something much more dangerous than these two things. They weren't even big," she said worried and looked around, but couldn't see anything.
"What do you mean, not big? They were almost three meters tall," she said offended as she jumped aside. Zatanna also evaded to the side when a new werewolf struck directly between them. Almost relieved Zatanna realized that the fur of this wolf was not black. When she looked at the creature that stood up there, she immediately noticed that it was a female.
"Heaven! She's huge," Talia whistled when she saw the wolf. About 2 heads taller than the two she had just fought, this creature rose up between her teeth and bared and looked at Zatanna then Talia. Talia was a trained fighter and her father had always taught her that attack was the best defense. She just killed two of those things before they even responded. That thing was nothing else. Her muscles tensed and the concrete crumbled under her feet as she pushed off. Time seemed to stand still as she rushed forward at a speed she had never thought possible. She clenched her fist and went far. She hit the surprised werewolf perfectly on the chest between the top row of her tits. She felt the pain shooting through her hand as they hit the massive bones of the werewolf, but that was unimportant.
Like a bomb, the werewolf crashed into the wall above her and buried the creature. Grinning contentedly, she looked at Zatanna who stood there with her arms crossed and pulled up a brown one.
"Next time you should let me save our husband," she grinned and clenched her fist, but Zatanna pointed with one hand only at the rubble that was moving as the werewolf came up from the rubble with an angry scream.
"Okay. You're tough," Talia admitted and clenched her fists again and grinned. "You were right! This one's more dangerous than these two!"
"That's not the danger I felt! That one's harmless," she said, throwing away and keeping an eye on the roofs."
"HEY!" the werewolf growled in insult towards Zatanna. "Totally not nice Zati!"
"It... can speak?" Talia asked in astonishment just to see the wolf jumping at her and taking advantage of her surprise. With both fists from above she hit Talia with a smirk. At least until the 2 sledgehammers hit their perfect block.
It was like she tried to stop a sledgehammer swung by Bane. The pain was intense as she felt the bones in her forearm break. With her teeth clenched, she tried to hold them with all her strength. And yet the brutal violence brought her to her knees. But she wouldn't give up. With an angry cry she mobilized all her strength and braced herself upwards. She actually managed to overcome the mighty power of the wolf and get back on her feet.
But then the wolf licked her completely surprisingly with his rough tongue over her face.
"MISS T!" the wolf growled almost laughing before the huge monster danced around her and tried to ram a claw into her back, but even if the creature was fast it moved so slowly for Talia that it was almost ridiculous. She countered the blow by playing and threw the thing into another wall only to wipe the drool from her face.
"Whoa." She hissed angrily and Zatanna grinned.
"Somehow this thing looks familiar. But I can't figure it out."
"What do I care! I'm gonna kill that thing!" Swept her as she suddenly felt a tentacle of blood around her, pulling her away. Where she had just stood, a werewolf landed, one that was a little more delicate than the other. The coat of this was a beautiful red, which reminded very much of a fox, however, the animal had little of a fox. As soon as it landed, this wolf rushed forward.
Only Talia's superior reflexes prevented her from being torn in half. The animal was hardly worthy of being called intelligent but the wildness of its attacks was impressive. The few hits Talia scored in that period were completely ineffective in terms of the wolf's regenerative abilities. But finally, her talents and her education began to make an impact. She slowly began to regain control and now she in turn drove the werewolf before her. But now the first one interfered again. Now she noticed it too. While the reddish werewolf was an outgrowth of brutal hard violence, the other was more tactical. Quite insidious, though. But she still had Zatanna behind her. Just as the 2nd werewolf stepped in, red fireballs shot past her head and hit the starting werewolf in the middle of the air.
The scream that now echoed was ringing in Talia's ears and she could hardly imagine how violently the ears of the two wolves had to ring. The burning wolf rolled over the ground and tried to extinguish the magical flames, but failed. While the werewolf rolled back and forth on the ground in pain, the two vampires enjoyed the sight. The reddish werewolf pawed dizzily and slowly out of the rubble. She saw the other werewolf lying on the ground and the entire chest and stomach area in flames. Angrily she roared out her hatred for the two undead beings, which only made them laugh. But when the earth ripped open under Zatanna and an almost 2 meter thick vine shot out, the laughter went out. Zatanna was completely surprised by the hasty and completely unexpected attack. But just before the tendrils reached their destination, Talia was there. With a lightning-fast, almost invisible movement she tore the vine into 2 parts.
But this distraction was enough to break the spell of Zatanna and so the flames on the 2nd werewolf went out.
"Plants?" snatched Zatanna confused. She had no idea what kind of werewolf it was, but something about this plant attack was all too familiar.
"Later Zatanna!" Talia said very calmly and watched as the second werewolf rose. The chest was burned to the bones and even this huge monster swayed as the wounds slowly healed. However, it was healing significantly slower than the wounds before.
"We must destroy them both quickly! They're dangerous!"
"Don't worry! I'm gonna solve this. The spell will destroy them once and for all! Just keep her away from me for a few seconds." Said the former sorceress and spread her arms. Hovering a little above the ground, she began to recite in an ancient language. Talia stood in front of her and in her hands two daggers formed out of a kind of living shadow. The blades wobbled back and forth and seemed to be both real and not real at the same time. But neither werewolf seemed to want to attack her. One of them was still weakened by Zatanna´s attack and could barely hold on his feet and the other female werewolf had gone to the vine and sniffed her. It looked almost tender as the giant paw of the wolf nudged the plant and as the werewolf looked at the two women, his eyes changed.
Where there were wolf eyes before, 2 emerald-green eyes human now formed. And even though they were beautiful eyes, they suddenly began to glow even more intensely. All the muscles of the werewolf seemed to tighten and the claws dug deep into the concrete.
"Zatanna.... No matter what you do..... Hurry up! I got a really bad feeling about this." Talia said. she felt something bad happening as the reddish werewolf's fur straightened up.
The wolf's eyes began to glow brighter and brighter until they consisted only of green light and then the strange thing happened. The wolf didn't attack. She stood up completely calm and straightened her rear legs and looked down from high above at the 2 vampires.
"Zatannnnnnnnaaaaaaaaa!!!" Talia yelled, now she felt something terrible coming. She remembered the words of Zatanna that something powerful would come. And now she too could feel this powerful thing too. But it wasn't that powerful thing that suddenly frightened her. It was the eyes of that red werewolf. There was no animal. There was something ancient. Something that could handle them.
And then it came. It was... strange... different... confusing... she felt something grab her arm but when she looked there was nothing... then she felt a pain in her neck and whirled around. Whatever it was, she could only see it for a fraction of a second and even then it was completely blurred and blurred. But that moment was enough to make her stagger back as if hit. Her heart, actually dead and still, started to race. She could feel an eerie, unnatural panic shoot into her mind. Zatanna was also affected. At the edge of her field of vision she could see something approaching her. Despite her fear she whirled around but there was nothing. Whatever attacked them like a phantom always remained on the edge of their perception.
But as quickly as this spook had emerged, as quickly it was already over again. The fear vanished... and she saw Zatanna kneel on the ground and tremble as well. Both Wolves were gone suddenly and they were alone.
"Zatanna? What the hell was that?" she asked and found her inner peace faster than Zatanna.
"The afterlife! We have to stop them! We MUST kill that red wolf!"
"What about her?"
"She's the key! She will give Bruce a power that will make him equal to our master," stammered Zatanna. She had seen more than Talia. She had perceived a crack in Reality, that had formed behind the wolf. A fracture from where these..... things.... Had come. Things that just couldn't exist in this world... And yet that wasn't the most dangerous thing about this wolf. It had been this perfect control. That red wolf was awakening. Their power would only grow further from now on and if it were not stopped immediately they could do terrible things.
"Then we should go after them. They went that way! Move!"
