LZ Day 7 - Gametime

You get on the field with your team, feeling good. You are all wearing your new, sleeveless pink uniforms.

Blue Team's uniforms are similar to yours, but with blue as their main color. You have to admit that Adella makes it look really good.

The game starts off, and Adella immediately seems surprised by how unafraid you are of her. You used to see her as this strong goddess, and she is amazing... but she's no Zarya. You would be scared of a Zarya on the field, but Adella? You can handle that.

Well... you can try. Adella scores on you within the first five minutes, but Viti stopped two shots before that. It's hard for you and Lara to get anything going with Beth and Duni all over the place, and Aki is good, but she's not a bruiser... every time Aki gets near the goal, Riona bullies her out.

You tie it up before the half with a sneaky pass to Lara, who gets it in. That was only possible because Sun nearly tackled Beth to stop her from stealing the ball from you.

You have noticed that this game is very high-contact. The refs are **** to use their whistles.

More blood and bruises is good for TV, apparently...

You and Lara fight like hell in the second half, but near the end, Adella breaks through with the ball. Only Max is between her and Viti, but SOMEHOW Max ends up with the ball. She sends it to you, and you take your shot, but you're too far out. Ingrid gets there and catches it with her incredible chest before it gets close to the goal and... the game is over, 1 to 1. No shootouts for practice matches.

Well... not bad! Everyone is worn out, and you know the Blue Team gave their all as well. You held your own against them. You wanted to win, but... life goes on.

Tiff gives you a high five, and the rest of your team pats you on the back, and on your backside. You just want a shower, but all you get is a towel and a bottle of water, because you have to do an interview with Moxxi and Lulu on camera now.

You head over there tiredly and sit down.

Moxxi immediately praises you and says that nobody expected Pink Team to win that.

"Really? We're really strong," you say.

"Obviously! So let's get to know you, Riley. When did you start playing soccer?"

You answer some questions like that.

"Who do you think is the best player?" Moxxi asks.

"I don't know everyone, but I know that Chun is supposed to be the best," you say.

"Oh, come on. Everyone says that," Moxxi replies. "How about on your team?"

"There's no one star on our team. We came together today and did really well," you say. You have to say stuff like that. "But I was really impressed with what Max did in the fourth quarter."

"OK, then who's the best player on the Blue Team?"

"Adella's in your face all the time, but Beth and Duni are the real threat. They enable her," you say.

Moxxi nods, like she likes that answer.

"Who's the most attractive player?" she asks next.

You laugh. "I don't know about players, but there's a coach named Zarya, and she's definitely the most attractive."

Moxxi looks delighted. "Oh, you like the muscles, huh?"

"It's all of her, she's just so cool. I'd do anything for her," you say to the camera.

Moxxi whistles and claps. So the interview apparently went well.
