LADY SATAN [Fr. DAME SATAN: L'Ange en Rouge]

Set in WWII Europe during the early days of the Golden Age of Superheroes, this comic that is a slightly updated reimagined reboot intended on giving an obscure golden age character new life follows the adventures of Marietta Chesler, who's peaceful cruise along the Seine with her fiancé is cut short by a Luftwaffe attack during the May 10, 1940 German invasion of France, leaving her the only survivor.

Not wanting to be killed for being Jewish, she dons a black mask and red hooded evening gown and flees into the Paris Catacombs, going deeper and deeper until she finally loses her pursuers by hiding in a secret room who's enchantment makes it invisible to those with wicked hearts. The room is dimly lit by a mysterious eternal flame sitting on an alter and it's here that Marietta - overcome by grief and a hunger for vengeance - takes an oath that as long as there's air in her lungs, she will dedicate her life to being a foe of not only the Nazis, but all those who wage war on the innocent, before being blessed by the spirits of the catacombs with minor superhuman and supernatural abilities.

Now, Marietta - aka LADY SATAN according to Joseph Goebbels and the puppet French government - travels unnoticed through the streets of Nazi occupied France & Europe, fighting the Fascist invaders, evil occultists and other injustices - usually solo but sometimes teaming up with other Golden Age heroes - with the aid of a hand gun, various weapons (both conventional & gimmicky) and a magick ring in the shape of a serpent which can release gasses that confuse and disorientate the enemy long enough for her to escape while also allowing her to "unveil the shadow world", while also using her charm and good looks to be a spy for the Allies, the French Resistance and S.A.N.T.A.
