Kyoko struggles to get something on.

With Komaru pinning Shuichi to the ground, Kyoko finally had a moment to think. Unfortunately, that moment to think also brought her nakedness back to the forefront of her mind. She'd had enough heroics in her birthday suit for a day or a lifetime. Besides, whatever trail she had planned to follow had surely gone cold, so there was no urgency to prevent that from happening. Before she left the room, she needed something to wear...

She glanced around. The dryer was still running with Komaru's clothes, and she'd promised not to take those, anyway. Unless the culprit from her case was kind enough to walk in with her own clothes, they were still nowhere in sight. So that left...

Kyoko cleared her throat. "Shuichi. You seem to be having some trouble there. Why don't we make a deal? If you loan me some clothes, I'll have Komaru release you and work on the case for both of us."

"I like my clothes just how they are, thanks! How about you let me go, and I'll... w-work on the case for you? I'll forget about my phone... for now... and help you out."

"... Shuichi, I have to apologize. This might be a fault of my own, but I can't trust another detective's skill over my own. Especially not one who's rambling on about some imaginary **** on his phone," she added meaningfully.

"... Nope! Sorry, but I can't afford to budge on that. I mean, I literally can't afford to!"

"A pity. Well, Komaru and I have already been doing our best in the nude, so I'll count on you to be a man about it. Relax, I won't even take everything... the outerwear will be enough."

Before Shuichi could protest further, Kyoko got on her knees and began awkwardly reaching into the space between Komaru's belly and Shuichi's groin, fumbling in the unseen space for the mechanism to undo his pants. This led immediately to some loud protests from Shuichi (besides a bodily reaction Kyoko couldn't help but brush her hand across, which only seemed to be adding to the problem). It also led to a fit of giggling from Komaru, who was apparently quite ticklish.

Eventually, amidst the chaos of laughter and wailing, and the kicking of her victim's legs, Kyoko managed to pull Shuichi's pants down to his feet. That didn't give her a look at his choice of underwear, considering Komaru's body still covered him. It still proved to be quite a challenge to get them off from around his shoes, as thrashing his pale, skinny legs around proved to be an effective defense. "Komaru, can you do anything more to stop his kicking?"

"Uhh, I'm not really sure... Maybe if I ask nicely?" The young woman tried casting her eyes up to Shuichi's, putting on her best pouting face and biggest pleading eyes. "Pweeeease, Mistuwuh Shuichi? Do it fowuh me?"

... Komaru's half-baked attempt worked flawlessly. Shuichi had, presumably, never been begged by a cute girl speaking in a baby voice for anything, nonetheless a stark naked one with nice handfuls of breasts pressed against his body. As a result, he froze up for a moment, and a moment was all Kyoko needed to finish wrestling his pants off from around his shoes.

"... From one detective to another, that's a weakness you need to work on, 'Mister Shuichi,'" Kyoko had to stifle a chuckle as she started stepping into the legs of the pilfered pants. "In our line of work, one needs to be able to keep a cool head... to..." She tapered off as she finished getting the slim garment she'd stolen from the skinny young man up to her hips. Suddenly, her friendly advice came to an end as she focused on her task.

There was an awkward silence for a moment as Kyoko struggled to finish making herself half-decent, attempting to keep her grunts of frustration as quiet as possible and preserve her remaining dignity.

When half a minute had passed, Shuichi was the one to finally speak. "D-don't tear them, okay?"

"Shuichi, I'm being exceedingly careful. There is no reason... I shouldn't be able to..." She tapered off as she tried inhaling a deep breath to tuck herself in.

"Kyoko..." Shuichi watched her with a red face, amazed that he was seeing the legendary and beautiful Ultimate Detective still bare-breasted and in this kind of struggle. "I'm going to say something, and I don't want you to take offense to it. It's just, uh, cool-headed logic, like we detectives like. Okay?" When Kyoko didn't answer, he kept going. "So Kyoko, I'm pretty skinny, and you're... Well, what I mean to say is, women, in some places, in comparison to guys, it's normal for them to have certain, uh-"

Komaru cut through his muttering to address the elephant in the room. "Oh my God, Shuichi, you can't just tell a girl her ass is fat! You'll hurt her feelings!"

Kyoko clicked her teeth. "... My feelings aren't hurt. What Shuichi's delicately saying is the truth. He is, in fact, a slender man, which makes this difficult."

Both Komaru and Shuichi held their tongues, neither deeming it wise to contradict her interpretation. Kyoko continued struggling in silence.

Finally, Komaru had to speak again. "Look, if it isn't working, maybe we give Shuichi his pants back? This situation is, uh... a l-little awkward for me, the less clothes he has on..."

Kyoko sighed. It was time to admit defeat: without some kind of miracle, there was no way she was fitting into her male counterpart's pants. Filing away a mental note to intensify her diet as a distant concern, Kyoko considered again what she could do. "Shuichi's pants might not fit... but something with more elasticity..." She mused quietly. Finally, she came to it. "Shuichi, I've changed my mind. Just the undergarments will do. I'll leave you with the outerwear."

"... W-what am I supposed to say to that?" Shuichi responded indignantly after a brief pause. "Kyoko, I'm not gonna let you take my underwear, and I'm sure as heck not gonna let you take 'em while- Uh..." he trailed off. "S-sorry, what was your name again?"

"Komaru Naegi," the girl in question offered helpfully.

"-While Komaru's on top of me!"

Komaru looked back at Kyoko with an apologetic, flushed grin. "Uh... I kinda feel bad for Shuichi... He seems like a decent guy, right? A-and I kinda feel like this pinning method is gonna get super weird if he loses his shorts, so... I changed my mind! Why don't you wear my clothes after all? Maybe they're still a little damp, but... I'm starting to feel like I should do whatever I can to get you in clothes, out of here, and away from me as soon as possible," she finished, speaking frankly.
