Kristy is now shorter, plainer, and chubbier, a cute little geek girl.

Derek and Bonnie waited near the front door, and after a while there was a knock. Heart pounding in his chest, Derek opened the door and found Kristy on the other side, but not as he knew her. The Kristy he'd had a crush on was gorgeous, but approachable. Chesty, with a pretty face and long brown hair, but not enough to make her seem completely out of his league, and she had always carried herself humbly, like she wasn't above anyone else.

The geeky version of her was pretty different. She was nearly half a foot shorter, going from similar to Derek's height to a half a head smaller, but he would have guessed she weighed the same as before. Her Star Wars t-shirt didn't do much to hide a chubby pooch of a tummy, and her breasts actually looked a little larger than before. Her face was more plain, with freckles and large, thick glasses, and her hair was shorter and quite a bit messier. Her cheeks were also bright red as she looked at Derek in surprise. "D-Derek?" Kristy's voice hadn't changed much, that became clear as she started speaking. "What are you doing here?"
