Krissy meets with Principal Howard again after school

Later that day, during her meeting with Principal Howard to discuss her grades, Krissy could feel his eyes on her, but she did her best to steer the conversation toward academics.

"So, Krissy," Principal Howard began, "you seem to have attracted quite some attention today with the new outfit."

She smiled, blushing prettily, "Do you like it, sir?"

"I do." He said, staring at her from behind his desk.

Krissy nervously twiddled her fingers, feeling the weight of Principal Howard's gaze on her. "I'm glad you like it, sir," she murmured, glancing around the room to avoid his intense stare. The room was adorned with academic achievements, awards, and various commendations that bore Principal Howard's name. It was evident that he had a lot of power in this school.

Principal Howard leaned back in his chair, observing Krissy for a moment. "Change can be good," he remarked, his voice smooth. "But let's discuss why you're here."

She took a deep breath, trying to muster courage. "I know I've been struggling, sir. And I really want to graduate with my class."

He nodded, shuffling through some papers on his desk. "Your grades have been a significant concern."

Krissy hesitated, unsure of how to phrase her next words. "What can I do to improve those grades?"

Principal Howard leaned forward. "I think we have a baseline now. I want you to meet me tonight. Can you do that?"

Krissy nodded, her eyes shimmering with hope. "Yes, sir. Thank you. Where do you want to meet?"

"I will give you the address later today. Just come dressed as you are now."

She eagerly nodded. "Yes, sir. I'll do whatever it takes."

As she stood up to leave, she hesitated, looking down at her outfit. "Thank you, sir."

Principal Howard gave a half-smile, "I'll see you tonight, Krissy."
