Krissy goes to school the next day

Krissy woke early the next morning, the unfamiliar feeling of a hangover immediately reminding her of what had happened the night before.

With no money, no car, and no real way to get out of town, Krissy resigned herself to staying here. Maybe she could just avoid her stupid drunk of a stepfather.

Changing into a clean pair of jeans and a shirt, Krissy grabbed her backpack and rushed out of her room to go to school.

Thankfully her stepfather was still in his room, likely still sleeping it off.

Krissy stepped out into the early morning and set off down the street they lived on in the cheap trailer park where their house was. Moving quickly, Krissy walked toward her high school.

She had never been much of a student, and was failing most of her classes. Regardless, it would get her out of the house and maybe she could find a way out of here from someone at school.
