Kris stands there, chuckling to themselves quietly. As Ralsei takes off his hat to begin squeezing the water out of it, he starts talking. "Well, I did not come here just to be made fun of." Ralsei says. Despite the frown on his face, you can tell he is trying to hold back from joining in their laughter. "The real reason I came here was to tell you something, Kris. Someone new has shown up, and I was wondering if you had any ideas on how to help them." With that, Ralsei gestures to you. The moment Kris looks over at you, a flicker of recognition appears on their face, before quickly shifting into a disinterested expression. Kris just stands there, stoically. Their messy dark blue hair falling over their eyes, but you know those piercing red eyes are staring right into your SOUL. Kris is dressed in, what appears to be, a knight's outfit, with steel plating over their modest chest, and pauldrons over their shoulders. Under their armor they are wearing a tight fitting black spandex that does little to hide their camel toe, or their shapely ass. In addition to that, they are also wearing a tattered piece of red fabric that almost resembles a poncho around their neck, and some plate boots. They grip the sword that is sheathed at their waist with a firm, gauntlet covered, grip. Their grip isn't shaking, rather, it is completely still, a sign that they are prepared to draw their sword in an instant. Despite how professional they are trying to appear to be, you know for a fact that they are scared.

Ralsei takes notice of Kris' tense body and reaches out to put a hand on their shoulder. "K-Kris, are you okay?" Ralsei asks with genuine concern in his voice. Even Susie has noticed the tension in the air, and has stopped laughing. Kris looks over at Ralsei for a brief moment, then back to you, before letting out a deep breath and relaxing their grip on their sword. "It's nothing. They just... reminded me of something." Kris says, purposefully being vague. Ralsei hesitantly takes his hand off of Kris' shoulder and folds both his hands in front of himself. "Well, if you're sure it's okay. Anyway, I found this person at the outskirts of the Dark World. I was hoping you would have some idea of where they came from, since you are both human, after all." Ralsei says. Kris glances at you from the corners of their eyes, before shrugging. "I don't know." Ralsei looks a bit crestfallen at Kris' words. "Well, we have to do something. There has to be a reason they appeared here." Ralsei says adamantly. Ralsei places his hand to his chin and furrows his brow, as if in deep thought. "Perhaps there is something I missed in the prophecy. I'm sure I must have studied it a thousand times, though." Susie cuts herself into the conversation. "A thousand times! Man, you really enjoy studying that much, Ralsei? I guess that's to be expected, toothpaste boy." Susie playfully mocks Ralsei, which fully removes the last bit of tension from earlier. Ralsei smiles back at Susie before responding. "Well, it is a rather important prophecy, I needed to make sure that every last detail about it was correct. Although..." Ralsei suddenly looks concerned. "When the last dark fountain was closed, I may have slacked off on my studying of it. I'll have to go over the entire prophecy all over again to check if anything has changed. It is a magic prophecy, so maybe something got added as time went on. But until then, we should figure out what to do with Vessel over here. I have some extra rooms at the castle, maybe they could stay with me?" Ralsei offers, blushing a bit as he does so. "Hey Kris, you got one of those blow up mattresses, right?" Susie asks. "Maybe we could have Vessel crash at our place?" You can see Kris bristle at the suggestion, but nobody else seems to notice. "I guess." Kris says nonchalantly. Ralsei turns to you. "Well, it's your choice. Where would you like to stay?"
