Koyuzu's Story

"Okay, so just what were you doing?" I ask the girl, who introduces herself as a tanuki named Koyuzu Shigaraki. I'm leaning against the doorway while she and Chisaki are sitting on the bed.

She sits there with some tears in her eyes and starts to explain. Apparently she's from a tanuki village. She says that tanuki's are taught how to use techniques from a young age that let them live in the human world, and at age ten they strike out on their own. She's still trying to master her transformation techniques, so she's not completely skilled at blending in with humans. Because of that she lives alone, away from people. That's basically her story.

"But you're just a kid!" Chisaki cries.

"By tanuki traditions I'm considered an adult, that's why I need to find a way to live on my own." Koyuzu responds. "But I'm still not the best at transformation techniques so I can't get a job or a home or anything!"

Chisaki pats the crying girl's back. "Okay, but why were you controlling my stuffed animals like that?" she asks.

"Because of your boobs!" Koyuzu shouts.

"M-my boobs!?"

"Yeah! When I first saw them I thought they were just so amazing! I started training extra hard to master transformations while I studied you! If I had boobs like that I would have no problem moving up in human society!"

Chisaki seems taken aback by Koyuzu's reasoning. I on the other hand understand, being a pervert and all. Big boobs are something I could never have before I found my earrings. Now that I can grope and suck any pair I want, I appreciate them so much more. Despite her reasoning, Koyuzu's story really tugged at Chisaki's heartstrings too.

"Okay, I guess it would be okay to let her stay here tonight, don't you think?" Chisaki asks.

"Yeah that sounds fine I guess, but I don't think it's a very good idea for a tanuki to be staying with a couple of humans long term if she can't completely control her powers." I say, noticing that Koyuzu's face dropped at my decision. "But..." I continue. "I know a place that's fine with spirits and demons. You can stay there."

"Really!?" she asks excitedly. "Do you think they'll want to be mt friend?"

"Oh yeah, they'll love you! Now I think we should all get some rest."

I leave the two of them alone and head back to Hiyori's room. She and Chisaki seem to get along pretty well so they can sleep together tonight. The last thing I see before leaving is Koyuzu burying her face in Chisaki's chest. I may be a thief and a sexual fiend, but I'm not heartless. Giving the kid a place to live seems like the right thing to do. The residents of the inn might be slightly corrupted because of my influence, but they should still be able to give Koyuzu a good home. As I climb into the bed I pull Hiyori close to me and hold her as I drift off to sleep.
