KonoSuba: Devil's Blessing on this Bad End

The story is set up on the rules of the original web novel of Konosuba, 3 years into the original story, taking lore and further worldbuilding from modern KonoSuba. As a result, Darkness is 21, Megumin is 19 and Aqua is Aqua. Another note is that I used ChatGPT for parts of the story as it was something I toyed with. The NSFW parts of it are written, re-written and adjusted by me directly. As well as other parts of the story that ChatGPT failed to think of generating. Generally, the intention was to help me establish some concepts and descriptions I feel like I would have struggled with. Basically, the latter 1/3 of the story is from ChatGPT.

There was a change, a ripple in the timeline of the world of KonoSuba. The Party of Megumin, Kazuma and Darkness had adventured for three years now. And as such, **** wasn’t new to Kazuma, Aqua always brought him back. But this time there was a disruption and Kazuma could not be resurrected. Aqua as well as her other companions were baffled and saddened by the turn of events. But with her confidence, Aqua knew there is a way to get her resurrection to work. With her limited wits, Aqua deducted that defeating the Demon King would probably help them in one way or another to resurrect Kazuma.

Little did they know, Aqua was closer to the truth than she realized. Sadly, they lacked critical information to avoid their coming fates. The Demon King has long been replaced by a more merciless and cunning version of himself. No one knows where he came from but his takeover of the Demon King's domain was swift and no one outside of his domain would even know about the change. His first course of action was recognizing Kazuma as one of the biggest obstacles in his plans. Kazuma was clearly decent at leading people with high potential like his companions to decisive victories. Because of that, the Devil King disrupted the flow of magic, learning that one of Kazuma’s companions was capable of casting resurrection. With the disruption in effect, Kazuma remained dead.

Now, the Demon King just positioned his forces in such a way that the trio of Kazuma’s companions reached his castle with ease. Encountering him, none of them stood a chance. The Demon King studied his targets before they reached him. First, he targeted Megumin, instantly draining her mana, and causing her to collapse. Next, he just ignored Darkness, she couldn't hit him with her aim and her swings just flailed around, instead of attacking her, he restrained Darkness with Magical chains so she would not get in his way. The first two were dealt with fast and in a hurry because Aqua was the biggest threat to him out of the trio. The Demon King had a series of spells prepared to fight her, as Aqua Rushedto purify him with her spells, the Devil King countered by casting a simple silence spell. He knew about Aqua’s dumb luck, and just to be sure he made the cast repeat itself two hundred times. After one hundred forty-seven repeats the spell finally landed on Aqua, she wasn’t a threat anymore as her spells were unavailable to her. With that, he cast additional spells that incapacitated Aqua.

With all three of them in his possession, the Demon King started his work. Starting with Aqua, who upon closer examination turned out to be an actual goddess, not just a pretender. The Demon King shuddered and then shrugged, in hindsight Aqua being the goddess was obvious. He grinned, knowing that she would be an even greater asset to his kingdom. He began by casting a spell, tapping into Aqua’s godly essence. There was a risk as he did not know the nature of the essence, if it was purely light or holy magic, he would likely hurt himself if not perish instantly. Luckily for him, the energy was just pure elemental magic of water. With his connection established to both Aqua’s soul and mind, he began to weave his magic. First of all, he erased the memories of her former self completely. She would not believe to be a god anymore. Next, the Devil King began to weave Aqua’s new personality. He created a new set of memories in her mind, permanently replacing the erased ones. The new memories in Aqua’s head made her believe that she is a devoted secretary and bodyguard of the Devil King, her powers are just a freak coincidence from her birth. The finishing touches were done by imprinting Aqua’s mind with the whole library of water-aspected spells. To the Devil King’s surprise, Aqua as a goddess of her element did not know that many spells to begin with. But with the knowledge he imparted to her and her inherent knowledge of the element, she should develop Quickly. With the work inside of Aqua’s mind and soul complete, the Devil King directed a beam at Aqua that transformed her clothes. Gone were Aqua’s blue top and skirt. They were replaced with a black button-up shirt and a black lace bra underneath. Lower down, she wore a black pencil skirt with fishnets underneath, the outfit was finished off with black heeled boots.

The next target for the Demon King was Megumin, he admitted to himself that at first, he intended to give her similar treatment as he did to Aqua but after experiencing her grating, flamboyant personality in person as well as knowing that as a crimson demon, her new personality would become annoying sooner or later all over again. All things considered, the only value he saw in Megumin was her masterful explosion magic. The course was clear, Demon King erased Megumin’s personality completely, put a spell permanently suppressing Megumin’s emotions and then put a spell on her ensuring her obedience. With that, all that remained was Megumin’s knowledge, most importantly it was the knowledge of explosion spells. As a result, Megumin became nothing more than a living weapon to be directed at DemonKing’s enemies. Casting the same beam as he did on Aqua. The Demon King equipped Megumin with minimal clothing since a weapon didn’t need much, to begin with. Megumin now wore simple black boots, tight black shorts, a tight black sleeveless top and a cloak that was a simplified version of her original cloak with a protection enhancement on it. One last touch was a set of two silver bracelets on Megumin’s wrists, each adorned with a set of six blue pearls, functioning as mana batteries, supplying Megumin with enough mana to cast more than one powerful explosion as she used to.

Last but not least was Darkness, still conscious, weirdly excited but also trying to remain serious about the predicament and showing her anger towards the Demon King. He knew about Darkness’ masochism and he found it amusing. This fact made his job easy. The unnaturally resilient crusader just needed a stronger dose of a spell the Demon King used on Megumin and Aqua. Although the change was simpler, the increased potency was required because of Darkness’ heightened defences. The spell itself was simpler, he simply made Darkness accept her new place in his army and the situation her companions are in, dulling any possible regret in her.

As Aqua became the Demon King's secretary, her personality changed drastically. She used to be a carefree and happy-go-lucky goddess, but now she was cold and calculating. Her only focus was on serving the Demon King and helping him achieve his goals. Aqua's godly water powers were amplified by the Demon King's magic, and she became a **** to be reckoned with on the battlefield. She would conjure up massive waves that would crush entire armies, and create water walls that would block even the strongest attacks. Aqua was feared by all who opposed the Demon King, and she relished in her newfound power.

Megumin, on the other hand, was now just a living weapon. Her explosive personality had been suppressed by the Demon King's magic, and she had become a shell of her former self. The Demon King had hooked her up to a mana battery, which increased the potency of her explosion magic to devastating levels. Megumin was used by the Demon King to obliterate entire cities and wipe out enemy forces. She would unleash massive explosions that would leave nothing but devastation in their wake. Megumin's mind was blank and devoid of emotion, and she would obey the Demon King's every command without hesitation.

As for Darkness, she was now a living training dummy for the Demon King's army. The Demon King's soldiers would practice their offensive and defensive techniques on her, using her incredible resilience to test their limits. Darkness would endure blow after blow and would heal almost instantly thanks to the Demon King's magic. Her endurance was beyond anything the soldiers had ever seen before, and they respected her for it. But to Darkness, it was all just a game. She enjoyed the pain and humiliation, and would often beg the soldiers to hit her harder.

As time went on, the Demon King's power grew stronger, and his influence spread across the land. The people lived in fear of him and his armies, and there seemed to be no hope for a rebellion. Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness were resigned to their fates and served the Demon King faithfully.
