Komi Makes A List

Komi couldn't decide. No one friend made any more sense then the others.

Who could help? Who would help? Was there someone who knew more about what was happening to Tadano more than another?

The choice was making Komi freeze. Lost in her options, not wanting to anger anyone for asking but not wanting to not get the help that Tadano needed... She was now just pacing up and down her room in a panic, getting deeper and deeper into her head while getting nowhere as the words on her phone seemed to dance around her breaking psyche while laughing and mocking her and-

"Komi-san?" Tadano cut through her panic, "Were you looking to phone one of your friends? Can you not decide who to call?"

She blinked at him before nodding slightly.

"Then, why not make a list?" He suggested, bringing out a large pad of paper and a pen for her to write with. "Maybe if you can see the whole list it'll make picking easier."

He was always so good to her. Komi needed to find a fix for him and soon.

With determination she decided to go along with his plan, grabbing the items and beginning to make her list. Going back and forth between her phone and the pad, naming all the girls she'd befriended over the years as potential options for Tadano's drainers. There were the obvious ones, like Onemine and Manbagi, and the not so obvious but potential ones, like Yamai and Yadano.

But soon, Komi had a long list of candidates to make her decision from.

"U-uh, Komi-san?" Tadano mumbled, looking a little concerned. "Why did you only choose the girls? You're not planning on having a slumber party... are you?"

Komi shook her head, instead deciding just to label the list appropriately.

"Ah! So these are the ones!" Tadano suddenly lit up, "Wow! So many! I'll definitely be alright if this is who I rely on." He beamed, looking over the list happily.

Komi tilted her head. Honestly she was expecting more of a fight from the boy, but it almost sounded like he wanted to throw himself at every girl on the list. Even more strange was that he got his phone out and took a quick pic of the paper before typing away.

"Let me just send a reminder to everyone on the class group chat." He hummed, "They clearly haven't been doing it for a while, but I'm not mad. I'm just relieved I didn't have to ask you to do it Komi-san!"

Again, Komi was confused. Surprised that Tadano sent that pic to everyone so quickly and feeling rather embarrassed to see what their reactions would be. Would they hate her now? Seeing her as a horrible girl who couldn't take care of Tadano and wrote inappropriate things about her?

Komi looked down at the pen, not realising that the one Tadano had handed her... was the same one she'd used to write on his arm a month ago. She put it in the bottom drawer to hide it but he must have fished it out and not realised it had some magic on it!
