Klara joined the New Mombasa Police Department at the age of 18. She simply wanted to help people in her community. She participated in multiple community events and worked out frequently. During the last few hours before the invasion she had spent much of her time shuttling people from the city. She got separated from the evacuation group when the doors of the city sealed shut, courtesy of the Superintendent.
