Snatching her bag Kjerstin tip-toed across the rickety old fire escape as if moving quietly would shield her. Certainly the skeletal metal railings wouldn't hide her delicious form from prying eyes.
Would the peeper lean out his window and snap a photo of her in all her naked glory as she crept naked toward her window? Would someone from the building opposite look out their window and then do a double-take to make sure their eyes hadn't lied when they reported the busty blond? Or would someone look up from the street below and wonder if that was someone moving around up there?
Kjerstin trembled, though she wasn't sure if it was fear or exhileration. The short distance from bathroom to bedroom seemed to take forever, and for a long moment she thought the window wouldn't open.
She strained, pushing upward on the outside of the sill, shifting to push up against the top of the window, her breasts pressing against the dirty glass as she strained upward.
Kjerstin was about to give up when the window opened with a loud cracking sound and she all but dove into the safe confines of her seedy little room and straight onto her bed.
Breathing hard as if she'd returned from jogging a grin crossed Kjerstin's face. Remembering the cracking sound she turned to the window, expecting to see the glass broken or the frame splintered. The window closed easily but then she realized it was the lock that had broken.
"It couldn't have been a very good lock," she shrugged. "In fact it is a good thing it broke. Now Lester can get a much better one."
As soon as she turned from the window she forgot about the broken lock, choosing instead to focus on what she would do with the rest of her day.
