What do you do?
Kiss her, obviously.
Seeing Nathraena's expectation, you can only disappoint her. Curling your lips to the side, you look at her and shrug. Of course, she frowns, not appreciating that you've given up too easily. Rolling her eyes, she turns the other way, focusing on the entrance of the lizard men in case they come out.
Knowing there's no time to waste, you plan on giving the siren a peck on the lips. While you would normally be so hesitant, you can blame your companion drow for breaking down your sense of faithfulness to your wife; however, it was all to save her in the end, otherwise by yourself, you would not make it this far.
The same applies to this glowing siren. While it's true you aren't completely trustful of her, she has already made her usefulness known. As such, you enter her arms and quickly peck her lips. The siren frowns though, not enjoying such distance. Not only that, a small kiss is insufficient to allow her to communicate with you properly.
"H-hey! Umph!"
Wrapping her arms around your neck, the Siren kisses back forcefully and before you are able to react, a slippery tongue enters your mouth. It doesn't make you feel hot though. Instead, her mouth is cool and soothing making you feel strangely alleviated.
Could this be...purification?
At this moment, Nathraena couldn't help but glance at the exchange and while she tried to hide her emotions, she couldn't help but feel a tinge of jealousy.
"Men..." she snorts.
"Indeed..." Djarrus follows with a slow nod of his head.
You want to protest, but it seems you were already being judged despite the fact the Siren was the more assertive one.
Water drips down your mouth as she keeps attacking, humming sweetly into your mouth and relaxing greatly once she feels you not resisting. Soon, her tightening hands at the back of your neck loosens and drops around your back.
Finally breaking away, you let out a long gasp and stare straight behind her, feeling dazed. The siren hums sweetly again and then moves to hug you, lowering her head underneath your neck and resting against your chest with a soft sigh.
She seemed rather too intimate but before you could regain your footing and break away, she lets go herself after recovering a little and stares gratefully at you with a beautiful smile.
"Thank you..."
You would normally have reprimanded her forceful tactics but once you are able to focus again, her voice once again catches you off guard. At this point, could you even be called a ranger to have let your guard down this many times?
The fact depressed you but her voice was amazingly smooth. As expected from her soft and gentle appearance, her voice was fully matching her appearance. Of course, it wouldn't hide the fact that she could also be daring from the obvious kiss.
As you see her smile sincerely, you find yourself unable to protest any further. Closing your eyes for a moment, you sigh.
"Weak."
"Yeah, Yeah. Don't remind me, Nathraena," you replied back, not bothering to face the drow. No doubt she's smirking.
"I'm sorry for being forceful, but in order to communicate with you as I am now, there cannot be any reservations. Still, I am happy to finally speak to a human for the first time!" the siren speaks further, allowing you become used to the water girl's voice longer.
You freeze, looking at her incredulously. "Wait, you mean this is the first time you-"
"Yand, Jau! How long do you plan to sssuly the goddesss with your pressence!" Another lizard man's voice echoed from afar.
You and everyone's guard went up. Apparently, these two lizard corpses that Djarrus snapped were supposed to return quickly. With no time to waste, you grit your teeth and pull out your knife.
"There's no more time to hide. We have to fight, now!" Nathraena whispers fiercely.
Frowning, you see the siren flinch anxiously. It's clear that battle is not part of her repertoire which is unfortunate. Still, you wish you had more time to speak properly to this girl. Heck, you haven't even received her name!
What do you do?
