Kira tells you about her education

Kira leans back slightly, her eyes momentarily softening as she begins to talk about her past. "I studied engineering at MIT after getting a scholarship when I was 15," she begins.

You’re in awe of her accomplishment. "You graduated high school after only one year? And you got to study at MIT? That's amazing," you comment.

Kira raises her eyebrows, staring at you with a mix of suspicion and curiosity before responding. "It was a double-edged sword. I couldn't go to school anymore with Des and Aneni. We had always been together, and suddenly, I was on my own."

"How did you get into engineering?" you ask, steering the conversation gently.

"I was always good at school," Kira replies with a nonchalant shrug. "But STEM, science, technology, engineering, and mathematics—they all came naturally to me. I guess I just had a knack for it."

She pauses, her gaze drifting as she recalls her childhood. "The three of us—Destiny, Aneni, and I—used to look up at the stars when we were kids. We were fascinated by space, especially Destiny. She always dreamed about wanting to come out here."

You smile, imagining the three of them as kids, dreaming big. "So how did all 3 of you turn that into a career plan?"

"Aneni was the one who suggested Destiny should work at NASA," Kira explains. "Destiny loved the idea, and once she decided on it, I figured I'd join her. And after we joined Project: Breed, we managed to bring Aneni on board."

"How did it feel being so smart compared to everyone else?" you ask.

Kira shrugs, her expression becoming more guarded. "I never really paid attention to it. I had my two best friends, and I didn’t care about what other people thought. But joining this crew... I was humbled. There are people here who are even smarter than me."
