"If it's all the same to you two," Juno said, stretching her arms out, "I like my ship, and I like not being stolen away to never be found again. I'd much rather monitor things from afar for a bit, given this new information."

You squinted at Juno. She was the one eager to get back to her own timeline, and yet she wanted to play wait and see? "I don't think we're going to learn much by staying up here."

"I know. But I never said 'we'. Your choice would be yours, my choice is mine."

You frowned, and glanced at Emilia. "Well I'm not going to sit around. But, I also don't know that I'd be comfortable wandering around the surface if whatever's going on knows to look for me. I could use a hiding place." Your frown turned upside-down, as you looked from head to toe at Emilia King's body. Fit, capable, athletic, everything the Emilia you had heard of wasn't. She would be a good body to wear, for sure.

Emilia glanced at you quizzically, and then back to Juno. "Wait, what's up with that look?"

"You want to know about us, right?" Juno strolled idly over to the balcony, leaning against it as she peered back at Emilia. Her eyes seemed to glow even brighter as she reveled in the opportunity to reveal some mysteries. "You know we both come from different timelines, from different versions of Hideki Labs. But, what likely isn't obvious is that there's components for a dozen minds on this balcony. I'm a combination of five entities, Angela here is six--"

"Technically seven."

"--Seven entities, all mixed together with strange properties. Biopolymers, bio-elastomers, extra-dimensional beings, and a couple humans to boot. Angela can exist inside and outside other bodies in various ways, I'm sure. I think you would be a nice little meatsuit for her to be able to roam around the surface freely, don't you think?"

Emilia's eyes widened, as she took a step back, holding a hand out. "Okay, hold on! You want to hide inside my body? And then what, it turns out you're the evil masterminds all along who just wanted access to the King bank accounts?"

You frowned, crossing your arms. "That would be a pretty poor plan. Juno has a ship that could house thousands of people for centuries. Money isn't exactly a priority here."

Emilia nodded a little, looking down at herself. She didn't want to lose the chance to unravel more of the mystery to the things happening on Earth, with the rift, with whatever might happen after whoever or whatever is satisfied with all the kidnapped people from other timelines. Frustrated, she groaned a little and clenched her fist. "Ground rules, then, if you're going to be... inside. One, you will tell me anything I want to know while we travel. Two, when I want to talk and move, you let me. And three, when we're sure you're safe to get out, you get out, or we find someone else for you to get inside. Got it?"

You nodded, and didn't hesitate any further--Emilia yelped loudly as you dropped your solid shape, becoming a pink gooey mass that wrapped tightly around Emilia's body! Quickly, you invaded her form, sliding into her body, sloshing around. Your pink matter slowly recedes on Emilia's form, as you flowed further and further into her mouth. As the last bits of you disappeared into her body, you felt things go black, before you opened your new eyes, slumped in a chair.

"Oof, what a rush..." you said, looking down at your new body, touching your hands to your stomach. Such wonderful toned abs... what an energetic spitfire of a body! You immediately hopped up, with a grin--very uncharacteristic of Emilia--and flexed your fingers out. "Holy moly, what do you do to keep like this, Emilia? Feels like I could run a hundred miles!"

You felt your control slip away briefly, as you promised Emilia you wouldn't steal it from her completely. "I do whatever it takes. Urgh, this feels so strange... I feel so bloated or something. Like I'm going to burst into pink goop at any moment..." Emilia sighed, and glanced at Juno. "You're free to stay here if you want, but I'd appreciate if we stay in contact. Any insight you might have from what we find on the surface would be great."

You clapped your hands together, grinning at Juno, making Emilia seem once again like a totally new person. "And now, let's get moving! I want to see everything, I want to go jog for a mile, I want to... hmm." You grinned a little more. "What should I do as the great Emilia King..."

You felt yourself roll your eyes. "I think what we should do first is get to the shuttle. After that? Well..."

"Of course, you could stick around a bit and we could let off a little steam together before you make your trip to the surface." Juno winked at you. "I think we could use a little stress release after all the excitement lately, I wouldn't mind helping out, I'll just need to slip into something more comfortable."

You could tell that Emilia felt the situation slipping a bit out of her grasp, but she wasn't exactly against the idea! It wasn't like you were all on the clock, not yet at least.
