Hamiesh trekked around the base of the massive tree looking for something, anything useful... But all he came up with was a Red Mushroom.

Sim came around the base of the tree at approximately the same time, and Hamiesh had enough time to see the Slime stumble into a sort of giant web filled with the encased pregnant forms of multiple others. A Large Cocktula, summoned by the pop of a web, slid down after Sim. The slime person had no time to dodge as it immediately attacked with a spray of sticky webbing. There was no dodging it for Simulate, who was instantly wrapped in webbing and being instantly squeezed in such a fashion as to put pressure on her core.

Hamiesh saw all this unfold before realizing what was happening. As he watched the fight between the slime and the Cocktula he became aware of a second creature that came alive from a pile of brush near the base of the tree; something like a big green lobster, semi-upright like a mantis and with tentacles for a face, loomed up, targeting the slime and the Cocktula with its compound eyes.
