John: Hey, Kimmy, about math… I heard you tutor sometimes. Thought I’d ask, casually.

Kimmy: Casually, huh? I’m pretty busy.

John: Of course. I just figured someone with your standards would explain things… properly.

Kimmy: My standards?

John: Well, you know, you're top of the class.

Kimmy: Yeah, and I worked for it. I kind of have to, half my brain is usually thinking about keeping myself organized and healthy, like sticking to routines, taking care of my feet, little things like that. But why should I accept to tutor you, though?

John: I mean, look, I’m managing, technically. It’s just… I’m one bad test away from things getting complicated, and I really don’t want to disappoint Ms. Ren. You’re my smartest option. Totally fine if the answer’s no. I just thought I should at least try.
