Kim pays off her debt

Harako floated across the woods around the castle, tired. She was clad in an old, dirty towel filled with holes. The spirit was looking for a secluded space to lie down and rest for a bit.

“Oy Harako, looking for Kim? She just left in her red car.” A passing harpy greeted her.

“…Not really …wait …Left? … In a red car?”

“Yes. I saw her leave. I thought she was looking a bit weird since her face was paler than usual. Like, it had a lot less color. Is she sick or something?”

“…Paler? …As in not blushing?”

“Yeah, that’s it! I don’t think I ever saw her like that. She was also wearing some pants and a pink shirt for a change.”

“…That can’t be. …How could she afford? …I have to check something.”

“…Accountant!” Harako emerged out of the water cooler next to a nerdy gnome. He didn’t even flinch.

“Oh, Harako! I was wondering when you were going to come. Want to withdraw your stored wages?”

“…Our debt …My debt to Morpheus. …Has it been settled?”

“Well, yes. Some time ago. Didn’t Kim tell you?”
