Kill Chet

Madeline felt like she could kill the Merchant if he could get his guard down. Without his stores supply chain helping Goodsprings it would help the Gangers in their attack.

"Hey....Look...." she moved her hands up slowly "Chet--I think there has been a misunderstanding." She tried to sound as **** as possible. It didn't work too well.

"You bet there fucking is." Chet waved the pistol at her haphazardly "You misunderstood who you were trying to steal from. Now you are gonna pay."

Madeline didn't know exactly what the towns folk would do to her if caught but she didn't want to find out.

"I can get you a ton of caps!" Madeline blurted out.

Chet's pistol waivered slightly. But it was enough Madeline was on him in an instant. She rushed in and knocked his pistol to the side then pulled her own gun from her holster. She fired 3 quick shots. Each one striking home. Chet was on the floor and dead in moments. One of the rounds must have pierced his heart.

Madeline knew the sound would bring the whole town on her head. She snatched up a few other supplies on her mad rush out of the General Store and into the night.
