Rinsing the soap from my hands, I look into the mirror. A handsome young man with medium dark brown hair and blue eyes looks back, wearing jeans and a crisp black T-shirt. I turn around, step out of the bathroom and look around for my roommate.

We’re at some dumb academic fraternity party he wanted to go to. What kind of party is this? No beer and no hot girls.

“Hey, can we get out of here?” I ask when I find him.

My roommate Peter turns around and looks at me through his glasses. He’s short, chubby, and he has curly hair. Even though he looks like a dork and may lack some confidence, he’s a solid dude, a good friend, and he can be really funny.

“Please Kevin, can you give me a minute?” He pleads. I stop and listen to some nerd who is talking to him.

“Here at Omega Epsilon Pi we take our grades very seriously, and you’re sure to be very successful with such a good environment to learn.” He says with a speech impediment and a big toothy grin. “What you do here will help you build a successful future!”

“Successful future?” I ask. “Whatever man. Come on Petey.”

“Wait, hold on!” Peter begs me.

“We have somewhere to be!” I say, pulling him along.

“Just think about it, okay?” The nerd suggests.

We’re out the door and down the road. Peter trails behind me.

“Don’t you want to build a successful future, Kevin?”

“Yeah man, but there are brewskis to crush and hot bitches to fuck, you’ve got to get your priorities straight!”

“But what about your future?”

“I’ll worry about it then.”

“So what is so special about this Sigma Sigma Delta place?”

“Not a place.” I tell him. “A brotherhood. A fraternity.”

“Omega Epsilon Pi is a fraternity.”

“Yeah dude, but it sucks. The Sigma house is the place of legends. I can’t begin to tell you some of the stories I’ve heard. Just trust me dude, tonight is going to be the night of your life. We’re going to get lit and there’s gonna be tons of hot babes.”
