Kenpachi

There he is, the demon, Zaraki Kenpachi, a man who you've always had problems with, but not so much so that the two of you were complete enemies. You simply had different values that you didn't find any subject to talk about sufficient enough to deal with. You are the epitome of grace and nobility. He is the incarnation of **** and destruction. You protect life and laws. He lives only to kill.

It's not a surprise he stares at you with a bit of distaste, even as the pink-haired child climbs up on his shoulder. There are probably plenty of rumors of 'Mommy' wanting sole custody, too. Yes, you've always wanted a child, but Yachiru... was definitely not that little girl you imagined your wife holding at some point.

"Oi, Yachiru."

"Ken-chan?"

"What're you doin' out so late?"

"Visiting Byakushi!" She chirps, as if she isn't being scolded. You're fairly surprised he's carrying such a tone towards her, but since he has adopted it, you decide to stay back and allow him to handle the situation. You know, of course, that it isn't any of your business. In fact, you have no idea why you're still standing there.

At that realization, you turn and move to shunpo away when that large hand falls on your shoulder. "'Ey."

"Did you need something from me, Zaraki-taichou?"

There's a heavy silence that follows, not even a cute voice disturbing it. He seems awkward, you can tell from the fluctuations in his reiatsu. Even so, you don't encourage him or whatever it is he may want. You don't care for a fight and you don't drink, the only two things he could possibly ask of you.

"Get inside. Gotta give you something Yachiru took."
