Keep pushing

Ella feels like she is so close to getting an answer, she can’t stop now.

“Ohh come on I saw that face, there is still something there. You can’t hide love”

A flash of fury crosses Rena’s face, but it’s quickly replaced by a malicious smile.

“You know Ella, your right. His roommate should be in, I'll let you ask him how he’s doing” before Ella has a chance to even respond Rena grabs her by the arm and pulls her into the building.

Ella’s protest falls on deaf ears as she is pulled up the staircase. Her thoughts from this morning coming back to haunt her.

Rena stops them right outside the front door to the flat. “You got two options”

She holds up a finger “option one: you cut out the investigation, walk into this apartment, and fuck the guy inside. No questions asked.”

She holds up a second finger “option two: you walk away and never speak to me again”

Rena’s eye felt like they would piece Ella’s soul, it was a bit scary.
